After a long drive we were looking forward to a quiet comfortable nights sleep. Unfortunately that didn't happen. To start, the elevator was NOT working... when we checked in and we had to walk 3 flights of stairs to the room which turns out to be right next door to the elevator. Of course the elevator started working again right when we went to bed before 10 pm and all through the night. Every time I drifted asleep I was startled by the thud and noise of the lift. I used a pair of earplugs but I could still hear it every time it was in use and didn't get any sleep that night, even with those ear plugs. The room also has a very intense smell of machine oil which gave us a headache and a cough. Being above the indoor pool doesn't help either, it really wears on your patience. It was full of happy screaming kids having a great time. Plus, the music from the birthday/graduation party going on really echoed up to the room as well. We turned up the TV volume and tried to drown out the exterior noise but the elevator still overcame it all. I suggest that the hotel executives spend the night on a full weekend to get the true effect of that room. It really should be a supply closet, it is a very poor design and placement of the elevator and it's so small. The décor of the room is nice, the bed was comfortable but the bathroom fan was not working. It's really too bad our room was so noisy and we never did get a good night's sleep. oleh tamu Hotels.com pada 11/06/2013
