Sheraton Burlington Hotel & Conference Center - Burlington Selatan, Amerika Serikat

I would (and I have) highly recommend staying at the Sheraton. Excellent staff and the "doorman" was nice enough to come over, on his own, and offer to take pictures of the entire family. This was a very nice jesture and showed the quality, courtesy and character of your employees.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful re: finding area points of interest. The room was extremely noisy as it overlooked the pool. My daughter was involved in a skating event so had curfews and bedtimes so that she would be well rested and prepared. She was unable to get adequate sleep as the incessant screaming of kids in the pool area reverberated […] in our room. It was very nice and comfortable bed and pillows. Good restaurant and bar, helpful front desk for recommendations.

The section we were put in was dirty, the carpet was ripped (a major trip hazard). We were three in a room but the hotel offered only tow towels , no shower caps, short on shampoo and soap and one bag coffee for one cup per day. One last thing they had no elevator so I had to carry all my bags to the second floor by myself.

Our stay was fine with the exception of two things. The cooling unit was too noisy and seemed to not reflect the set temperature. The rear exterior security entry door was never locked.

Very disappointing. Arrived after 3pm to check in and was told the room wasn't ready. Went for an early dinner since it had been a long day of travel to get there and came back 90 minutes later. Still not ready and many people in line in the same situation. Finally was assigned to a room after 7pm. The room was clean, but there were dirty dishes outside […] of our room and many rooms on our hallway. No offer for compensation, nothing. I don't know how I could've avoided being in that situation, poor hotel management for a chain with a normally good reputation. Will not go back. Baca selengkapnya

Outstanding hotel- immediately adjacent to UVM. Great facilities, food options, pool, etc. Was given 2 king rooms when I had only booked one double...very nice staff, and it will be my hotel of choice when my son matriculates to UVM.

I found this hotel room (which I upgraded to the "club suite") was dirty, and beyond out dated. The sheets & comforter resembled sand paper. The bathroom had no fan or circulation so after 2 girls showered the entire bathroom was dripping wet with steam. The most annoying circumstance in the room was zero outlets. The only available one that was on […] the bottom of the lamp didn't work so we had to unplug the lamp & blowdry/ straighten our hair in the dark. Though we have visited Burlington many times in the last year, this was our first stay at the Sheraton. We were greeted fairly promptly by friendly staff at the reception desk, where our check-in went very smoothly. The room, though dark, was attractive, the beds were comfortable, and there were ample television stations available for each of us to […] find something to watch. We were dismayed, however, to find candy wrappers on the floor of our room (as well as litter in the stairwell which was not picked up during our three day visit!) The hotel provides a coffee maker with coffee and tea, but unlike other nearby hotels, there is no 'fridge in the room. There is also, apparently, a surcharge for just about everything: wi-fi access, local telephone calls, etc. We were surprised to find no ventilation fan in the bathroom. The pool and health club area are lovely and larger than in other area hotels. But, there were wet towels on many of the chairs and tables as well as the pool deck when we went to swim. It was clear these had been there for some time, not just recently left by guests who didn't bother to drop them in the bin provided. (Not only was this off-putting for those of us using the pool, it was visible from the conference center lobby which is also the entrance to the restaurant) I had intended to make mention of some of these concerns at when we checked out, but there was only one pleasant though somewhat confused and frazzled person at the desk with a line of people waiting to be served. By the time we had our turn, we were running behind schedule so I didn't bother. Our stay coincided with a holiday weekend/school vacation week, so it is possible the property was short-handed. But it's also when people are likely to be staying in Burlington for the winter attractions, as well as visiting the University on "college tours" and "accepted students" days. Check-in time 3pm, we show up at 5pm and Our room was not ready and we got the room at 6pm. They offered us free dinner, but we cdn't take advantage of it. In the room, the carpets were dirty, one of the lights didn't have a bulb and the sheets smelled. Had to call guest services to take care of the sheets and bulb. The closet was missing the glass […] door. I was told that the UVM students stayed at the hotel, partied and thrashed the place and the door was sent for repair. The Sheraton in Burlington VT had a friendly staff and semi decent location. It was located about a mile and a half from downtown Burlington (driving distance). I probably would have enjoyed it more if it was walking distance from downtown. The beds were very hard on our backs but the linens were cozy. We went swimming once and we smelled of chlorine for the remainder of the trip after numerous showers. Our biggest disappointment with the amenities was no hot tub / jacuzzi. We have visited Burlington many times in the past six(6) years while our sons were students. The hotel is one of the better values.It was clean but is showing its age in some places such as corridors etc. There is a pleasant bar/lounge and the staff is responsive.

overall, this is a great hotel in terms of location, convenience, quality of the hotel and rooms, service and value. I would stay here again. one problem was that there was no soap, shampoo or conditioner in the room. after i informed the front desk, soap was delivered, but no shampoo and conditioner. I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing I did not like was the yelling and slamming of doors from midnight until 3:00 AM. This is something I should have addressed. Otherwise, all was great and we really enjoyed the pool.

had a slight problem with the heating system, but it was fixed. Elevator got stuck, and doors did not open initially. They did after an uncomfortable second, but that was enough for us to choose to use the stairs for the rest of our stay.

The hotel was very nice: room, bar, restaurant and lobby. The thing I found less than excellent was the bathroom in my room was very small. It was hard to move around. I think the room was in an older part of the hotel.

Stayed 2 nights..... the restaurant & pool area is beautiful... the room... needs updating... no frig, mircowave. i don't remember the last time i stayed at a hotel that didn't have these. the chairs look 20 years old. UPDATE!!!

Nice & helpful staff, beautiful lobby & facilities, large capacity, and great location. However, staying in a cheaper place a couple blocks down might serve you better. WiFi costs $$ in room, no refrigerator, housekeeping staff can miss items (was without notepad for 4 day stay. they just left the empty pad on the desk), & a bit pricey. Hotel can be […] a maze, so enjoy the trek to find your room. Since its a maze, enjoy the foot traffic constantly stampeding past your room day & night. Most rooms face indoors, so don't expect a view. Since its a conference center, parking on the weekends near your room is rarely possible & the noise throughout the weekend nights can be quite loud (as your room faces the interior you'll get it from both sides). If you don't like surprises, give this hotel a miss. No internet access ($10 a day or one free hour in the common areas), no fridge or microwave, expensive luke-warm meals. The Sheraton is a very nice hotel. There's an indoor pool and fitness facility that are luxurious. The room itself is standard, with a comfortable bed and well-planned bath. The Sheraton is adjacent to the UVM campus, though visitors to Burlington may find one of the hotels along the waterfront perhaps better located. The only comment I have is that as a business conference center, wi-fi should not be an additional charge. Most other hotels, family centered ones included, now provide free wi-fi access. I had not other complaints, but would likely not stay there again and find a hotel that includes wi-fi.

Rooms and halls need much updating. No elevator service to the room available.

I was a little concerned about the reservation after I booked it because I read some negative comments on Trip Advisor. However, we were very satisified with the accomodations. The hotel was clean and our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient.

I was unhappy because I have never been to a hotel that would charge $9.95 per day for WiFI, but Iwas told I could get it free if I went into the hallway outside my room. Also I used the one package of reg. coffee the night before so I went down to the front desk @ 5:30 AM hoping to get another packet. To my dismay I was told that was unavailable but […] if I was feeling adventurous I could purchase a cup of coffee across the 6 lane road from the hotel. HOtel was nice the room was standard.you have to pay for Internet per day and the food is expensive. The pool had a funk on top. The other national brands were on the otherside of the highway.

great location. Near UVM, shopping, downtown, malls, farm tours etc. Hotel on the whole is very nice. It is great that they allow dogs. Hotel rooms, themselves, are alittle tired. I understand they are rennovating the rooms...apparently a very slow process.

Lobby, checkin area, pool, dining, etc. are all beautifully decorated and comfortable. A really nice place for singles, families, couples, business, etc.

The rooms are clean and the beds are VERY comfortable, loved the pillows! However, parking was a nightmare had to park about a block away as where our room was there was not enough parking, they do not have an area to do your laundry I had to drive down about half a mile to a laundry mat. Room service closed down early they suggested for me to go across […] the street to a little convience store to buy something to eat. Way overpriced. Stay at a Best Western. You can't tell much difference and save 50%.

I was very pleased with our room. We were going to the Shelburne Museum and it was a very convenient location.

THIRSTY? in large letters on water bottle. The price per bottle can be read via magnifying glass. Ditto the price of using the in-room phone - rates listed somewhere near the phone. Do they charge for room to room calls too? Otherwise - the room was clean though a little noisy (air conditioner, doors slamming) and it was very close to downtown.

Rooms needed updating. Old windows with screen ripped; bathroom door had holes in it and dusty behind door. Very convenient for our purposes.

Very good service and the rooms are VERY clean. It needs to be modernized. The decoration of the hotel is outdated in the halls, rooms, lobby, elevators, pool. Needs a good facelift otherwise very good...
