"Love this place"
I stayed here with a conference and now I stayed here for pleasure! Very friendly, professional staff - excellent breakfast! Pool was great and a perfect temperature (sometimes in the "winter" they are too cold even if they say heated - but was perfect) I would stay again!

Overall was a decent stay but a few minor problems. Compared to other Embassy Suites (I.E. Riverwalk) this one was a bit of a let down. The bed was not very comfortable as well as the pillows. The shower was smaller than expected. Compared to riverwalk the manager get together at night and breakfast didn't have as many choices or felt as appealing. There is a funny smell to the lobby which may be caused by the indoor pool. We tried the pool but had to leave due to the deafining noise from all the kids. Bed was not very comfortable - needed a new mattress. Room was clean and well stocked. Breakfast buffet was good and the staff was very friendly.

The beds were so uncomfortable. There were 4 people in our pary and one person had to sleep on the convertible sofa. You could feel every spring in the worn out mattress. our room was hot during our stay. Thermostat was sat at 72 and could not be changed. The food is awful at both restaurants and neither can accommodate the number of guest the hotel holds. Your better off spending the money and staying on the riverwalk.

it's a little dated and could use a bit more upkeep, but overall it's a decent true 2 room suite. the breakfast is still probably the best around.

Decent hotel. Located minutes from downtown. Plenty of nearby restaurants. The room was nice in that it was a suite, however the bathroom was tiny. The air conditioner was weak. At night time we could not sleep well due to inconsistant cooling. One other minor complaint would be the housekeepers were stingy when supplying soap and shampoo. "It was okay"
This place was just okay. It is a Spanish style building with a sunroof patio in the middle, which is nice. It does not feel like much of a hotel but more like an inn. The room I had was very gloomy and dark inside. It also smelled like cigarettes, which is a no no for me. I can't stand that smell. The sheets and decor were old style, not very modern. our stay was very good the foods and services was outstanding.iam looking forward to my next trip back to San Antonio NW.And for sure I will make sure we stay at Embassy Suites personal and services was great.Just keep doing what you are doing now.
Good location close to all, mostly clean rooms, found a few crumbs here and there!! Overall happy with experience, good breakfast too.

Embassy Suites, has always been known for their great rooms. I must say that this time was very disapionted. The desk clerk was very nice and courteous. My disapiontment was with the quality of our room. 1. I ask for double beds, I got one King, The desk clerk made every effort to get us double beds and we got the new room within 15min. 2. When we transfered […] to the new room, its not made up, it was dirty, sheets and towels on floor, it was discusting. 3. Room smells old, carpets had huge stains, televisions are outdated and so small. 4. Lastly, you charge for internet service, I have stayed at similar hotels and there is no extra charge of internet. "All around great stay!"
We were in town for a wedding that the reception was being held at the hotel. Check-in was smooth. We enjoyed the Mangers reception the 1st night and had a variety of beverages to choose from. They were really good, the snacks were just chis, salsa and popcorn. We ha breakfast every morning we were there and it was plentiful. Custom omlets and pancakes […] for my son. We may two issues, that don't give it a five. It only has an indoor pool. I find them to be uncomfortable, and humid. Also, they were a lot of kids in the hotel this particular weekend. They were running back and forth in the hallways till two in the morning. We did call downstairs Nd all the kids ended up doing was changing floors. A little more security would be better. IT WAS A GREAT HOTEL. WE ALL HAD A GOOD TIME WHILE STAYING THERE. MGMT AND STAFF WERE VERY KIND. THEY ALSO PULLED OUT THE SOFA BED FOR US.THE BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS EXCELLENT. This was our first experience at this hotel. Our over all stay was fine. However, the room smelled like someone had been smoking in it when we arrived. The front desk was very polite and changed the vent filters and asked if we wanted a room change. I wouldn't mind staying there again but would probably try the other two Embassy Suites first. "Our stay at the Embassy Hotel San Antonio NW"
My family recently stayed at this hotel for three days. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. First the negatives: Our stay was going well until we woke up and found a colony of ants across the back wall behind the double beds. It was a shock to say the least, but the hotel management was quick to respond and gave us a $50 credit to their Plaza Cafe. […] The indoor pool was also nice, but I'm not sure how clean the pool was since one of my family members developed an infection after swimming. One should also exercise caution around the two and a half feet railings that separate the patrons from the edge of each floor. If you have small children, you'll have be sure they don't get to close to the edge. Now the positives. This hotel has a very nice indoor patio setup that serves a complimentary breakfast. The arcade center was also a fun area for the children. The wait staff at the Plaza Cafe were very friendly and courteous to tend to my family's needs, as well as the staff in the breakfast area. Overall the hotel management worked hard to care for their guests. I also thought the price was very good for a suite. Would I stay here again? "Great North Side Stay"
We loved this hotel. It was close to Fiesta Texas and not a far drive from DT and the riverwalk. We loved having two rooms with a door between them as we had our toddler with us who goes to bed early. The free breakfast and afternoon snacks and drinks are a real bonus!!! The "balcony" is TINY, barely big enough for two people to cram together and housekeeping […] came late everyday, but those are my only complaints. I would definitely stay here again!!! "Had hoped for better."
We have stayed at other ES hotels in the past. This one is really starting to show its age. It is not the best maintained facility. It could use some updating and the breakfast and managers special can use some improvement.

"Not up to Embassy Suites' standard"
I recently stayed at this property in San Antonio and based on the experience I've had at other Embassy Suites, this one disappointed. Let me start with the good. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. That's the good. The bad: The food was poor. Breakfast selections were scant and the quality of the food was not as good as I've had at other […] ES hotels. Breakfast was not good. Neither was the food I ordered from room service. I ordered a simple cheeseburger and it was bland, dry and barely edible. The room was fine, but the bathroom was tiny. There was literally more room inside the shower than there was standing outside the shower. There were two TVs in the suite. The TV in the bedroom looked to be a 19 inch tube TV that you could barely see from the bed. The TV in the living room looked like a 20 inch tube TV that was so blurry it was unwatchable. this is my second stay at this facility. first time excellent, this time the opposite. room had a bathroom door that would not close, a telephone that did not work and the pillows were awful. won't be staying at this place again.
"Embassy S.A. NW"
Second time we have stayed here. First time was under less than happy situation (family funeral). It was in early June and the a/c struggled to keep up with humidity. Hard to wear church clothes when you are sweating bullets. Ten years later a much more relaxed Spring Break stay and after an upgrade. It is beautiful, quaint and has a boutique hotel […] feel with the lobby area in particular. It doesn't look like a trademark Embassy Suite and that is okay. In the suite, the a/c was alright but I worry that despite the upgrade that the western sun will really test its capabilities later as summer approaches. Our bedroom area faced the west and it was significantly warmer than the living area. We were comfortable as the a/c managed but we froze our daughter in the living room area. I will ask for a non-southwestern facing room the next time. This is a great alternative to the downtown accommodations if you are somewhat familar with the San Antonio area. It was a quick trip up the interstate to the HIll Country, Fiesta Texas and Sea World. There are mulitple shopping, movie theatres and restaurants nearby and it is still only 10-15 minutes from the Riverwalk area depending on traffic and the time of day. Baca selengkapnya
"Manager's Reception"
We enjoyed our stay, but the Manager's Reception needs some updating with the snacks. Just about every stay at your hotel there has been cips and hot sauce as the snack. Please consider adding something different. Your hotel in Hot Springs served homemade potato chips one evening.
