It's more than just pleasant, way better than I expected it to be! Walking distance with metro station. There's many food around the hotel if you know how to walk, especially in some alley, there's a really really good stall with food, the specialty is squid! Ate that 5 out of 6days of my stay there. We were looking for a centrally located, well run hotel. A Taiwanese friend recommended the Ambassador in Taiwan (celebrating its 50th Anniversary) and its new sister hotel in Hsinchu. The Ambassador hotel was very nice for my 5 night stay. I was surprised when I checked in, I was taken to the Executive floor, had quci check-in, and has access to the executive lounge. Overall, outstanding stay and service.

Hotel is conveniently located close to Shuanglain train station and about 10-15 mins walk to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. The receptionists at the club floor were helpful and responsive. OK hotel.... but not 5 star or even 4 star They are updating/ renovating and it will be really nice when finished but too pricey for what you get also all the additional charges nickel and dime you . Older Hotel...they are updating rooms and the newer rooms are nice. Older rooms are not dirty but a little worn, carpets stained...good thing they give you slippers....Staff was fantastic very helpful . Restaurants OK to good. It was rated as a 5 star but it's a 4 star at best with 5 star pricing

I paid a little extra for the Executive Room floor and it was so worth it. Free breakfast, internet and believe it or not, laundry service. I very much enjoyed this very busy business oriented hotel. The location could not be better and it was so comfortable.

It is clean and comfort. We are impressed with the breakfast with variety of good food. It is a little expensive for a four-star hotel However, we receive a 40% discount which is a good deal.

I was looking for a hotel that was close to public transportation and that was clean. This was my frist trip to Taipei and I wanted something that was easy to get to from the airport. When I arrived at TPE I asked the info desk how to get to the hotel. They gave me a sheet of paper with the hotel in chinese and English. I took this to the bus operator […] and they got me to the right bus and told the driver where to drop me off. The bus stopped across the street from the hotel. Bus was 125twd. I must have gotten lucky with my room as I received a King room on the top floor. It was nice and was similar to a Sheraton. It was clean. There were 5-6 channels on tv in English (HBO, ESPN, movie ch). They had a few different types of pillows which was nice. The buffet looked good but was more $ than I felt like paying for breakfast. In the morning it was a short walk to the subway. 1/2 block, then cross the street and the subway was 1 block down. The walk was mostly covered (which is nice in case of rain). 7-11 is two doors down from the hotel and there seemed to be some small restaurants in the neighborhood. The bus to the airport is outside the hotel but you have to wait for it. It is not on a set schedule. They said it comes by every 30-45 minutes. I waited 20 minutes and a cab driver agreed to do it for 1/2 his normal fair (600twd). Baca selengkapnya

Why did I say do not judge a book by it's cover? Frankly, the exterior of the ambassador may not be that classy of a five star hotel or even nice-looking to everyone. But we have to give credits to the management that efforts were put into ensuring the comfort of everyone staying there and upgrading projects have been done in the interior of the hotel. I'm […] proud to say that the hotel staff were all very friendly, from the door staff to the housekeeping staff. Everyone had the essentials of service, bringing smiles to their face and greets people every time someone walks by. The hotel location is convenient with places to eat nearby(5mins) walk. They are two nearby mtr services(train service) 5 mins walk and even able to have underground shopping. The rooms were well maintained and sufficient of a five star hotel. The housekeeping staff ensures everything were fresh and new. Hotel staff treated me well, received room upgrades on both days upon check in. Breakfast buffet was actually pretty good. The hotel is close to the high speed rail, by cab less that $3.00 USD. If you intend to use local bus service from and to the International Airport, the bus stops right in front of the hotel and costs is minimal, less than $5.00 […] USD vs approx $70.00 USD for a limo?? Cabs are very abundant, stop at the front door of the hotel and very inexpensive. Ride to the International AP would cost approx $50.00 and take approx 60 to 90 minutes depending on traffic. The front desk staff were very professional and responsive to my room request. I stayed on the 9th floor, Executive and this has been completely and tastefully renovated and had complimentary WiFi. Lots of restaurant choices within and surrounding the hotel and super convenient for the subway.

抵達當晚，前台職員接待有禮，算是至為良好的第一印象，其他的都與網上看的“實景照片”頗有出入，整個飯店予人的感覺就是舊，儘管從各種設施可知用料上乘，但都已是過去式，足見長期缺乏保養和翻新。房間電視距離床鋪太遠，空調聲響太大，整潔度不足（改善照明或有所幫助），煙味很強烈，明顯在這全面禁煙之地，仍有客人在房間內抽煙，廁所入口正對床頭的布局，令人有種不衛生的感覺。 服務方面，乘車往飯店時遺下旅遊書在機場巴士上，次日早上要求concierge幫忙聯絡大有客運詢問，聯絡上後竟然將電話直接交我與對方安排到台北車站取回書本，幸好還有給我對方負責人聯絡電話號碼。作為五星級飯店，我認為服務不達標。何解不直接安排將書本取回飯店，讓客人感到被悉心照顧？況且這部機場巴士，在飯店對面就有一個車站，多做一點點，不就更好 […] 嗎？問最近的捷運站，竟然不是回答最近的雙連站，累我們行了不少寃枉路，最後在半路決定坐計程車到台北車站算了。整個旅程就這麼被飯店的設施水平與服務質素影響，兩個晚上都睡不好，經驗不太愉快。 幸好飯店對面有間神仙牛肉麵打救了它，很好吃，必定要試。 Baca selengkapnya

日本人かと思うほど上手な日本語を話し日本のホテルのような対応をしてくれるスタッフがいた 残念なことに地図を見せながら道をきいたら、計算に忙しいらしくイライラしながら知りませんと言われた(レセプション) 見かねた他のスタッフが対応してくれた お風呂が水はけが悪かった 配管を掃除してもらったらなおった あまり謝罪はなかった ベッドの寝心地はよかった 前泊は同じアンバサダーの高雄に泊まったがこちらは、あまり日本語は通じないがスタッフは誰もが親戚で暖かい感じがした。

老舗名門ホテルとして、親の代からかなり利用しています。　以前のサービスは素晴らしいものでした。　残念なのは、日本人団体等が増えたことにも原因するかもしれませんが、フロントの対応等の質が落ちてきていることです。　部屋の確認等に時間がかかる、面倒くさそうに対応するなど、利用するたびに質が落ちていく気がしています。　宿泊費もリーズナブルになりリピート客でない日本人が多いので、やむを得ないと思いますが、残念です。

I booked this hotel right befor my arrival, I liked the location most of all. It is close to MRT Shuanglian station and there was market near the station, it was very convenient for travelors like me. If I plan to Taipei once again, I will stay the same hotel :)

リムジンバスの停留所がホテルの前にあるので、個人旅行者には安価で便利がよく、MRTの駅にも近く交通の便も良い。　JCBプラザラウンジも徒歩で行け、何かと相談でき非常に良かった。朝食もコンチネンタルで非常に良かった。

外観は一見古く感じるが、内装はとてもきれい。館内はいつもいい香りがして、見た目の清潔感だけではない気遣いを感じる。スーぺリアからアップグレードしてくれたこともあり、部屋も快適だった。日本語話せる従業員多いし、応対も丁寧。雙連駅を出るとすぐに、短いけど活気のある市場があり、食品から衣服まで扱っているので、見るだけでも地元感あり。また次も選びたいと思った。
