"A great hotel in Buenos Aires"
This hotel was perfect. We rented an apartment for most of our stay in Buenos Aires, however we decided to book into the Intercontinental for Christmas Eve and Christmas so that we could pamper ourselves a bit plus have amenities available. "The BEST option for a hotel to stay at in BA"
I stayed at the Melia and Intercontinental. Between the 2, the Intercontinental is much better. It is situated in a quieter/ cleaner area. It is better for middle to older aged guests. Melia is better for younger to middle aged guests. If you can, upgrade your room and get a suite! You will have access to the gym, pool, business center and a floor […] ALL TO YOURSELF. "Poor service and additional fee for fitness centre"
The service is not as expected in a such hotel and not constant. Some nice people at the reception and poor service after. The fitness centre is no free but $50 fee. The service at the breakfast is not professional at all. The room is not exceptional. The location requires a car or taxi. "Hotel Intercontinental, Buenos Aires"
Typical higher end American hotel, but with somewhat faded decor in our room. Pleasant bar area. Staff helpful and friendly. Location is close to San Telmo and historic center of BA, and an easy walk to many things. Neighborhood is rather run down looking - but we saw it on a Sunday when most businesses in this area were closed.

Hotel was great and all guest contact staff spoke good English. The hotel location meant that if you want to be out after dark, you need to take a taxi rather than walk.
