Great location to the beach, shops, and resturants. The room could have been cleaner and hotel needs some maintenance work. Carpets in rooms and hallways need to be steam/deep cleaned - very badly. Nice pools and beach access.

Overall the hotel is very nice and the staff is extremely friendly. Lots of stuff (restaurants, shopping, entertainment) close by to keep you entertained (especially the beach) and no real reason to drive anywhere while you're there. The only minor annoyances are the slow elevators, we're talking they move at a glacial pace.

Hotel is in great location, close to restaurants, stores, and on the beach. But the carpet was "sticky" and dirty. My husband forgot slippers and after walking on carpet the day it rained (we stayed in) his feet were black. Disgusting! The shower rod was falling off wall at both ends so the curtain hung in the middle leaving the sides exposed. The maid […] never cleaned our room; we were there from Friday til Monday. the staff was friendly enouth but rooms need updated, it took us three rooms to find one that did not smell old the carpets are old and we would not walk around without socks, they would be filthy when we took them off. I like the fact that the comfortors are washed after every guest but ours had some makeup stains on them so they still did not appear […] clean.shower rod was falling down and we had to call to have it put back up room 414. breakfast was nice and a good variety, because of the general room conditions we would not stay again. we have a trip planned there in a few weeks and have chosen a marriott facility. Overall, this was a nice Hampton Inn. The people were very nice and bent over backwards for us. I had left a notebook at the desk by mistake. The clerk researched who it belonged to and called our room to make sure it got returned.

The only issue we had was getting locked out of room. Manager let us in but key card machine broke and it took 2 hours for them to fix the issue completely...

We got an upgrade to the ocean side...amazing. Perfect place to stay for beach activities within walking distance. Excellent restaurants also. Friendly staff everywhere! Definitely will stay again!

I loved the friendliness of staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and hotel. I enjoyed being able to have a private area on the beach behind the hotel. I hated that I was on a smoking floor and I don't smoke. This hotel needs to be non smoking! Not many hotels allow smokers and this one does. From the pictures on the web it appears that all rooms are waterfront--NOT SO -as we were booked into a street room. The Hampton was great, as usual. Very clean, very comfortable. The guy at the front desk was very nice. Although there was some convention going on with lots of teenage kids, we weren't disturbed at all. Our balcony view of the Gulf was gorgeous and soothing.

Stunning location for a hotel. Literally backs onto the the sandy white Pensacola beach. Came here for a rest-bite during a tour of the southern cities, such a change. The hotel itself was under a little renovation but was still delightful, great staff and nice breakfast. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

We checked in on Wednesday night, registered to leave Saturday morning. We left for the morning on Friday, and came back around 2PM. We had a load of stuff to bring into our rooms. None of the keys for either of our rooms worked. I went down to reception, explained our situation, and the desk clerk gave me new keys for both rooms, which worked. I asked […] her why our keys failed, she responded, "I have no idea". It would seem to me that the start and end time for each key made would be on the computer, but she did not offer that information. When we opened the room doors, we saw that housekeeping had avoided both rooms. It seems to me that when we arrived Wednesday, the desk clerk had us leaving on Friday instead of Saturday. It would have been better if the Friday clerk had been honest and not lied about why our keys failed. Second, trying to keep a steady 72 degrees or thereabouts was a real problem. The thermostat system is strange, and there are no explanations about getting the temperature right. Make sure your balcony door is closed to hotel specs or the system fails completely. Third, it would have been nice to have orange juice at the breakfast, but always seemed to run out first. On our last morning, they refilled, but the juice was not cold. The discounts for Thanksgiving weekend don't amount to as much as they used to, and poor service and lies will make me look elsewhere if we return next year. Baca selengkapnya

When I checked in (and hotel was already paid for from Hotels.com) I asked about having a CC on file for incidentals, was told no problem, I was good. 9:15 PM (after driving 12+ hours and winding down), I get a phone call from the front desk "You need to come down and give us your […] CC since you used room service".
