"Hotel Lyon Metropole & Spa - Lyon"
This hotel on the banks of the Saone River is a little old fashioned but is very clean and comfortable. We did not make use of the Spa nor the huge Swimming Pool but I am sure that in the summer with the sun shining the facilities would be perfect for a couple of any age. I would not recommend this hotel for families with children because it is about […] 4 Kilometres from the centre. Great stay for me and family. Quiet hotel, good breakfast, very supporting staff, very good spa and swimming pool facilities. Good cuisine at the restaurant. Sincerely very recommendable. We came from a long trip throughout the heart of Europe and to find it was a very pleasant surprise.

+ : leisure infrastructure (pools (2), tennis, spa, fitness...) - : room decoration and furniture in need of a refresh unless you fancy 70's. My AC was not working in spite of me asking for repair every morning, this was not professional at all and kept me upset.

The hotel metropol in Lyon stands on the river bank. Although it is slightly outside town, it is easy to jump on a bus and after a 10 minute ride you will find yourself in the town centre. The service I received from the staff in the reception area was brilliant: however this was not matched by the chilly greeting I received from the spar reception. "very Impressed"
This hotel was lovely, the room was really spacious, we were lucky and got a room with a poolside terrace which was beautiful. The swimming pool, whirlpool and spa facilities were fantastic. The parking is free, a real plus in France. The downside is the location as the public bus to Lyon is not frequent especially in the evening and there are no restaurants […] around the hotel. "Tired but with good facilities"
Some girlfriends and I chose this hotel for a Spa, shopping and 'going out' weekend. The hotel staff were excellent and the hotel is quite comfortable but outdated. We had quite a number of Spa treatments booked that we all soon cancelled due our consistent dissapointment after our initial appointments. The treatments were all just OK and much quicker […] than they were listed, and it was without the extras that you come to expect, such as a hand massage when your face mask sets, relaxing music when you are having a scrub or even the staff remembering to come back into the room when your face is being steamed for over 15 minutes! one scrub left one of us with bleeding knees and other areas neglected. A 20 min à pied - à 5 min en bus ligne 40 du tunnel de la Croix-Rousse, en bord de Saône, cet hôtel comfortable est un endroit à recommander pour le voyageur d'affaires ou en loisir. "Très agréable"
Je n'y ai passé qu'une seule nuit. mais je peux vous dire que le service et le confort sont très bon avec ouverture de l'espace SPA dès 6h30. Merci hôtel.com +60% réduction / prix public

"Magnifique hôtel qualité de service exceptionnelle"
Cette hôtel est pour moi le top du top sans avoir testé le restaurant! Mais le reste est nickel surtout le S.P.A et le Hammam avec ce ambiance orientale!
Malheureusement, après 2 jours complets de travaux intérieurs (sciage et percement toute la journée) sans un mot d'excuse, il est difficile de pouvoir porter un jugement sur cet hôtel qui ne manque cependant pas d'atout comme leur spa.
Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel avec une chambre et des services de qualité, un personnel aimable et souriant! Seul défaut son éloignement du centre; mais nous y retournerons dès que possible!

calme personnel totalement invisible mais present des que l'on a besoin d'eux super . hammam pas tres chaud par contre le sauna extra . seuls bemols pas d'alarme vers les saunas ou hammam en cas de malaise et baignoire etroite ! Ideal pour soufflé 24 hrs

une chambre double un peu vieille dans un hôtel actuellemet entouré de grues. La propreté de la chambre à peine correcte, surtout dans la salle de bains. Par contre, bonne table et spa plutôt sympa.

Nous avons passer un superbe week end dans cet hôtel. L'espace bien-être est un vrai moment de détente, un pur bonheur! Dommage que la salle de bain n'est pas de baignoire d'angle car les chambres sont superbes par rappport aux salle de bain. Je reviendrai dans cet Hôtel!!!!Nous avons beaucoup aimés!! 50 m pool utomhus och en mindre pool inomhus gjorde barnen glada. Bra ångbastu och gym. Mer ett hotell för business än mys. beställde rökfritt men föregående gäst hade helt klart bolmat på. Fick dock nytt rum efter påpekande. Gångavstånd till Paul Bocuses lyxrestaurang (ouest). Bra garage.

Des points forts certes, mais beaucoup de points faibles,chambre petite ne correspondant pas du tout globalement à la catégorie 4 étoiles, service restaurant inégale, personnel débordé, pain de la veille, cuisson de viande non respecté. A part ça, accueil plutôt sympathique et très bien le SPA , la piscine, les salles de sport etc.

Das Hotel liegt leider etwas ausserhalb von der City. Bushaltestelle vor der Türe. Die Fahrt mit dem Bus dauert ca. 15min. Der letzte Bus um ca. 23:00h. Tiefgarage gegen zusätzliche Gebühr ist vorhanden. Leider gibt es in der Stadt fast keine freien Parkplätze. Das Zimmer ist komfortabel hat aber leider keine Minibar. Pas de pression de la douche. Baignoire avec l'eau qui ne coule pas donc bouchée. Cela tarde notre préparation on arrive dans le hall a 21:45 et on nous dit pas de diner possible . Comme c'est excentre impossible de diner a cote. Donc salade au bar sans sauce sans goût. Cet hôtel devrait avoir au mieux trois étoiles mais sûrement pas 4 étoiles. Bien situé,espace spa très agréable, personnel efficace et agréable. A déplorer pour un hôtel de cette catégorie, une certaine vétusté des sanitaires (joints de carrelages pas "nets", robinet eau chaude froide inversés entre lavabo et douche.

Wij vonden ons verblijf in jullie hotel gewoon super. Een prachtig zwembad met voldoende ligzetels, zeer mooie fitnesstoestellen in een mooie fitnesszaal met airco. Wat we bijzonder hebben gewaardeerd is het ontbijt dat ons nog om 11u. werd geserveerd omdat we om 8u. een joggingtour in Lyon hebben gedaan en niet op tijd terug waren. Excellent acceuil, personnel sympa et aidant. Le bar est très sympa, les chambres suffisamment grande et bien équipées, surtout très propres.
