Crowne Plaza Hotel Jakarta - Jakarta, Indonesia

I stayed at Crowne Plaza at February 2012. So far the room is so so ut location is very good. One thing is they don't have any WIFI. Very hard for business trip to struggle with the internet connection.

The hotel is reasonable for the price, but the rooms are starting to get a bit tired. Also I noticed a slight yellowish tinge to the water. Staff is helpful, but are not always on the ball. The Crowne Plaza Hotel Jakarta is centrally located in the SCBD and has big rooms, a decent gym and pool, and good staff. The biggest downside is lack of free Wifi in the lobby or rooms -- the hotel charges $15/day which is enough to send me to another hotel during my next visit to Jakarta.

I ended up getting an smoking room - I requested a non-smoking room. The A/C didnt work. All other services were ok. The main restraunt had great food. Staff was very helpfull.

Hotel facility including room and public area are up to the standard of a Crowne Plaza hotel. Hotel staff is friendly. The only entrance to the hotel is by a major street with limitation of 3 or more passengers per car in the morning rush hours. This made arrival at hotel by car difficult in the morning. Nearby hotels offer back street entrance as alternative, […] but not this one. My visitors complained bitterly about this problem. Another issue is about the hotel management, who failed to observe Priority Club room upgrade policy. I had to ask, but was denied at first. At my insistence, the staff looked up the policy and agreed to upgrade after 10 minutes of discussion or argument. The room was just okay. Although its a western brand, the room was not as nice compare to US crown plaza hotels. There is also no wifi which was a big strugggle for us. However, the staff were really nice and always willing to assist us in any way.

Nicely located next to Semanggih Mall. However access to mall is to exit hotel and walk along main road in front and having to manouver yourself with the commuter crowd as they wait for the buses. I was there on a business trip and can notice that the hotel is located quite suitable and it seems to be almost the centre of the city. Attempts to be prestigious.. More than a disappointment a nightmare! I won't recommend this hotel not because of the service, generally the staff is fine except the staff working at the lobby!!! I've never seen such incompetence, unkindness and rudeness! Really. I tell you: we arrived at the hotel in the early evening. Our room were already paid. It was a non smoking room for 3 […] adults. It took us 2 hours (I'm not exaggerating) to prove to the staff at the lobby that we had pay the room and the xtra bed in advance. They completely refused to believe us. They even refused to give us our bill with the details of what we paid. Finally, we had to go in our mail box , find the booking reservation email and make to them the demonstration that the amount that we paid included the extra bed!!! 2 hours of intense discussion. インドネシア国内から出張で宿泊しました。駐在員の楽しみであるNHK朝ドラを見ていたらローカル局の音声混信がひどく日本語が聞き取れなかった。　歯ブラシはあるがヒゲソリがない。　朝食は白米がイマイチ、あともう少し日本食のおかずが欲しい。　一階の日本レストランは美味しかった。

以前から泊まりたいと思っていましたので、今回実行しました。やはり、クラウンプラザです。とても満足しました。問題は交通の利便性。③in one zoneと言う場所故、仕方ないかもしれませんが...この問題が解消すれば最高です。

前回に比べ、まず就寝時エアコンをオフにしても部屋が寒かった。2泊でチェックインしたが部屋のカードキーが1泊となっており、2日目は部屋に入れず、部屋の前で、15分以上待たされた。又持ってきたカードキーと交換したがこれも、その時部屋に入った時使えただけで外出から戻ってきたら、又使えなくなってきた。フロントへ行き厳重抗議したが「ソーリー、ソーリー」を繰り返すのみであった。朝食のレストランでも案内され席について、コーヒー（または紅茶）を注文し、ブッフェで皿に入れて席に戻ってきても、まだコーヒーがきていないことがあり、追加コーヒーを注文してもなかなか持ってこずイライラさせられた。他の席でも同様なようでコーヒーがこないと怒っている人がいた。前回はこういうことは無かったので、改善して欲しい。

ホテル費用を日本で支払い済みにもかかわらず、チェックイン・アウト時に請求されたのにはあきれたが、ホテルスタッフ（ドアマン・フロント・ハウスキーピング・ルームサービス）の対応はどれも問題なくアットホームであった。 各フロアーの通路床・じゅうたんが波打っており、スーツケースの押し引きが大変重く感じる。 二部屋の壁にドアがついている部屋が多く、鍵は掛かっているものの大変気になった。 部屋内の小さな不具合はたくさんあり、言えば対応するが、数回の不具合連絡・リペアー待機の時間は大変無駄なので、ある程度の覚悟が必要。

このホテルは高速道路沿いにあり空港からの交通には便利です。 近くにプラザセマンギ（PLAZA SEMANGGI)というショッピングプラザがあり買い物には便利です。 またプラザセマンギの近くには道の真ん中にプラットホームになったBUSWAY乗り場があります。この乗り場からTRANSJAKARTAというバスが頻繁に発着しており3500ルピア(約30円）くらいで旧市街KOTAやBLOCK Mへいくことができます。 地図を片手にバスで独立記念塔や博物館へ行きました。 またTAMAN MINIという遊園地にも行くことができます。但しこの場合は乗り継ぎが必要で乗り継ぎは別料金です。困ればタクシーでと考えればバスの旅行も楽しいですよ。 ホテル自体はかなり古く、まあまあです。

以前はサリパンパシフィックにしていましたが、今はこのホテルが気に入ってジャカルタでは定宿です。 特にホテルのロケーションが高速道路の出入り口に近く非常に便利です。 移動のことを考えてもいいですね。 朝食は日本食もわずかですがあります。 ホテルにも日本食のレストランもあります。 宿泊料金もリーズナブルと思います。 お勧めは金、土、日の宿泊です。 他の曜日と違って若干ですが割安になっています。
