Hotel was great. One of the best free breakfasts of any hotel I have stayed. Rooms were clean. Great location. Was within walking distance of downtown attractions and at the entrance to the Smoky Mountains park. Cleaning staff left hotel towels in the shape of animals for our children which were a big hit. "Great hotel with one minor problem"
This is a very nice hotel. Perfect location close to the park yet walking distance to most attractions in Gatlinburg. Most of the employees were nice and professional. The hot breakfast was great but one of the servers was a little grumpy speaking to the guests in a negative tone. I know the servers were passing on the hotel policy of once through the […] food line and limiting us to 2 sausages when asked for 3, a little ridiculous, but it was the manner in which he did so. As a retired Customer Service Rep I can see the need of a little more training for these people. Customers can really be difficult at times but an employee must treat each one with respect and recognize the customer is actually paying their wages. I love the location of this hotel. It is right downtown from all of the restaurants & shops. The parking is good. They have a pool & hot tub in the back of the hotel. It is separate from the hotel. At check in we were informed there was a $32.99 "RESORT FEE" for our 2 nights stay. "walking distance all attractions"
Was in walking distance to all the Gatlinburg attractions plus there are trolleys that go to the other close cities if you want to enjoy those attractions too. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean but the pillows were not comfortable to me but I like a harder one and these were not that hard.
