For the priced paid it was not worth it!! It smelled like cigarette smoke as soon as we walked in the room! It was very uncomfortable and had to change rooms and there was the same issue. The bathroom was in bad condition.

The staff was very polite, the rooms were okay, found a few hairs in the bathroom, the towels were stained but we were able to switch those out with no problem. The hotel is near the airport and provides a shuttle to and from the airport that was great! I would stay here again.

Hotel is older but clean and well maintained. The breakfast area is more of a nook so don't expect any grand breakfast buffet . The rooms are large, spacious and comfy. One of the beds (we had two double beds) was a bit soft and lumpy but the other one was perfect. We were there from 8 pm to 3:30 am, to catch an early flight. Unfortunately the phone rang 5 different times, with no one answering? The night manager was very nice and finally blocked the phone. It was alright, for over night. easy to get to the Port, has Shuttle Bus to and from Airport and to the Port. Hot Breakfast was alright.Room was clean but need to fix the sink, water flow was so slow.Desk was helpful.I like it here because of shuttle bus. but, for a week I do not know, Restaurant was only one close by. and It wasn't good foods.

My stay at La Quinta was great. Very clean hotel, spacious room, cable TV, nice amenities, and literally across the street from the airport. For the price, I would absolutely stay here again.

We've stayed in several La Quinta's. The bed was SUPER comfortable, had plenty of pillows, good hot water and all the conveniences for the night before an early flight. Breakfast worked for me, but not my picky husband lol. The typical continental breakfast so I was good. The free shuttle was great....however it does NOT run 24 hours. I believe it was […] 6am-10pm or something. On the way back, we landed at 7pm. I called the hotel and they said the shuttle driver was about to take a break and they offered us to take a cab, and they would reimburse us with a receipt. Talk about service...BEST La Quinta yet. The staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. They had free airport and cruise terminal shuttle services and other types of transportation available for reasonable fees. We spent the night prior to a cruise; but they allow us to store our luggage upon our return from the cruise since our flight didn't leave until late without any added charges. […] Absolutely amazing service! The room was clean, check in a bit rough as it took awhile to be noticed due to a tongue lashing a hotel employee was giving another guest about pillows in Spanish. We stood there at the front desk for 5 minutes or more before someone else, who was on the other side of the "discussion" called to us. Also, it was frustrating that we had to struggle to […] find a taxi because the shuttle quits at 11 PM. Although we tried calling the hotel a few times to find out about the shuttle with no answer, we finally found the information on a sign by baggage. If they would have answered the phone, we might have gotten a shuttle ride instead, apparently the staff was to busy. breakfast: toaster burnt bread and otherwise was typical breakfast... including a waffle. Overall it was a clean place to crash before our next flight in the morning, but sadly not worth the money especially due to a lack of customer service. I was worried walking in, but the rooms were nice, clean and in much better shape than the common areas. Disappointed that they advertised a 5am breakfast, but when I got there is was at 6am! So I didn't get breakfast!!

Old faded and stained carpets, and dirty wall and trim paint combined with a room rate that should be 1st class made this disappointing. They could never get away with these rates and the condition of the hotel if it wasn't near the airport. The bed was comfortable and the staff was nice but I paid about hundred dollars more than I should have.

This hotel was clean and comfortable for one night before leaving for our cruise. The free shuttle from the airport and free bus to the cruise terminal in the morning, along with the breakfast, made this a great value for our family. Being right next to the airport, there was some noise from jets taking off and landing, but our room was in the back […] and it really wasnt a big deal. I was thinking that the hotel is near all shopping center and the port and they offer according to their advertising shuttle to shopping and the port but they only offer free shuttle to the port, no restaurant around except one and is very expensive and not many food to choose from.

The Hotel is bit old, but it is clean and bed is comfortable. the breakfirst is free and good enough (have egg and sausage and some other choices). Free shuttle bus to airport waited a bit long but free shuttle bus to cruise port was great.

I was very pleased with my stay at the hotel. I found my room very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The complementary breakfast was very basic and the dining area was crowded. I stayed on the 2nd floor and was not bothered by the sound of planes taking off. The shuttle bus to the airport was on time and the driver was very pleasant.

The hotel was expensvive for a noisy, poorly kept, old, shabby property. Shuttle took fr ever for airport pick up. Early morning visitor crawling down the wall, but this is Florida but in the winter? Location is great for a one night airport stay, but that is about it. Poor value for money.

La Quintas are usually a great value for comfortable, clean and welcoming hotels. This specific location is truly a blemish on the LQ brand. The hallways and room smelled stale, neither the thermostat nor the AC were working, the elevators felt rickety, and the mattresses on the beds sagged so severely that they bowed inward as though they didn't have […] any springs in them. Upon turning on the television, we called the front desk to report that the cable was out and the attendant simply said "Yeah, sorry about that." I asked her for a repair time estimate due to the fact that the lobby TV was in working order and she responded " Uh, I don't know; there's just an outage." The next morning there was still no cable. We stayed one night before going on a cruise. One ammenity that La Quinta did not advertise well, is the free transfer to Miami Port after the nights stay. Shuttle service to/from MIA. Bus to/from Port of Miami. If you have a car, you can park it at the hotel for the length of your cruise. Very accommodating. The breakfast area is nice but a zoo on cruise day. Very nice clean property.

The stay was Ok. The services provided made the stay worth it. There was a small (what appeared to be) blood stain on one of the pillow cases and some mold in the washroom. The staff were wonderful and accommodating and the Port Organizer was great as well. We were travelling for a cruise and the pick up and drop off was great as driving to Miami was […] busy and confusing. We were allowed to park our vehicle for the week we were away and there was no issues on our return. The other comments we read were correct about finding the hotel. We traveled up and down LeJeune and had so much difficulty finding the hotel, only to learn we were on South and not North (directions online say South and it's North!)...but the hotel staff were friendly and patient with us and lead us in the right direction. Once we got to the hotel we were fine and it was not that hard to get ourselves back on the 95 as I had paid attention while on the shuttle and paid a small toll fee to get us where we needed to go- easily. Rooms are dated. Tile in bathroom was a bit worn and masonary was cracked. Small bathroom. Breakfast was ok for continental. Shuttle to the hotel was very good. No problems.. Very quick service. Good hotel for overnight to the Marina for our cruise. Would stay there again for this reason.

I felt that the excellent customer service from the receptionist working the evening of February 16, 2013 certainly made up for the tired look of the hotel itself. There are certainly better upkept LaQuinta's throughout North America.
