My recent stay at Altoff Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg was more than satisfying. The staff greeted you with such kindness and they were nice enough to take care even the smallest needs we had while we stayed there. It seemed their main focus was to make sure our stay was a unique one. This is surely a Grandhotel. Thank you

hotel fab, bar service just so good, restaurant was not so good in booking, they said no tables, however the reception got us a table at 9pm after so much trouble and stress!!!!! in the italian, and when we arrived it was half full!!!!! so was not impressed, they told us no tables available???? but did not find the team in the resaurant helpful what […] so ever, felt they was not intrested.they just said they was full and would not take a booking and told us to eat in the bar area,my sister and i spent the sunday in the spa which was fab, except no staff what so ever, when we did find someone they was so busy with clients and not intrested in us, we wanted to oreder drinks and snacks but nobody around to ask or take an order, no one on reception, maybe because it was a sunday, but not a good enough excuse really, loved the place but a lot of special areas not good enough, would go back, next time would book the best restaurant also afternoon high tea, you have to book the day befoe apperantly the chef said, we did not get the best meal or afternoon tea. I nearly opted to stay some place cheaper and glad I didn't. The hotel is impossibly comfortable and romantic. For the high price you get to feel like royalty. They meet you at the door handle your bags, park your car and nobody hangs around waiting for tips. Free mini-bar in your room, enough closets for even our 6 bags. The robes and slippers are […] wonderful quality. You can request any kind of pillow to assure yourself a comfortable nights rest. Restaurants are great and breakfast is superb but not included for the price. The bar room is charming, cozy and smoke-filled. Good cigar collection. We had dinner at the sister restaurant and thought the French restaurant very reasonable. The spa is total luxury, but is was completely booked. ;-(. A truly superb hotel. The scale of the property is quite extraordinary and it is beautifully presented. It has close proximity to Koln Messe about 20 minutes away outside of the rush hour. As a show organiser of a number of shows including Professional MotorSport World Expo at Koln Messe I will definitely be recomending this as a really good alternative […] place to stay outside of the city. This was a very lovely hotel with terrific customer service. There is not much around in the way of restaurants or things to see, which is the down side, but if you don't mind driving to this hotel for a lovely place to stay, it is worth the effort.

Really lovely Hotel, the drive up to the Hotel is like something out of a James Bond film. A real quality experience from the bathroom to the bed to the minibar (all drinks prepaid) and even to the excellent toiletries and slippers (never seen such fantastic slipper before!). In fact the second […] night I stayed in a slightly cheaper 4 star hotel in Essen to be with collegues and the lower quality standard was just enormous. We had stayed at this hotel twice before and were really looking forward to returning. Whilst the hotel was as stunning as ever the service on this occasion sadly was not! We had requested interconnecting rooms and after waiting a long time the rooms given were not interconnecting. Eventually after yet more waiting we were given interconnecting rooms […] and a bottle of champagne to say sorry. All was forgiven and we had a great stay, however when we came to check out one of the receptionists was most unhelpful and unpleasant. Firstly the hotel tried to overcharge us for breakfast we had in our room, and although it was only 9 Euros it was the principal. When we got the 9 Euros back the rececptionist was sarcastic. She also said we had not paid, which we had because we had booked through Expedia! She insisted on checking which was humiliating when she was the person who had taken our confirmation in the first place! Also we were going to go back to the hotel again some 10 days after we checked out, and were promised a complimentary beauty treatment and champagne. When we arrived the rude receptionist ignored us, the person due to meet us couldn't and hadn't advised passed on any information, and we were finally told that we must have misunderstood, so we did not stay. To say we are disappointed is an understatement as we loved this hotel, but it proved to be third time unlucky for us and despite loving the grandeur and history of the hotel we will NEVER return again. Allgemein sehr aufmerksamer Service, bei Problemen wurde sofort freundlichst reagiert und gehandelt, Parkplatzgebühren für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie völlig angemessen, Roomservice top, ebenso die Angebote im Restaurant Enoteca, gute Lage mit herrlichem Ausblick, schöner Wellness Bereich.....wir verbrachten hier sieben sehr entspannte Tage. Schade war […] einzig, dass man im Wellness Bereich keine Erfrischungen oder Kaffee bekommen kann und dass auf der Weinkarte in der Enoteca bei mind. drei Weinen nicht der Jahrgang zu haben war, welcher auf der Karte stand. Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel in quanto abbastanza vicino al complesso fieristico ma nello stesso tempo lontano dal traffico. Secondo me è molto importante potersi godere pace e relax dopo una stancante giornata in fiera! E questo albergo ne ha tutte le caratteristiche. Speriamo di poterci fermare anche per una visita di piacere.

sehr schöne Anlage, gepflegtes Hotel, phantastische Küche, fleissiger, freundlicher, schneller Service in jeglichem Bereich. Besonders empfehlenswert ist die Enoteca, Vendome sollte man einmal ausprobiert haben. Frühstück mit € 29,00 zu teuer, € 20,00 wären akzeptabel. Schade, dass beim Einchecken die drei Tage vorher getätigte und bezahlte Buchung […] der Junior-Suite nicht im Hotel vorlag. Wem hier die Schuld zu geben ist, blieb unklar! Getröstet wurden wir vom Hotelmanagement nach einer Stunde vergeblichen Eruierens und Wartezeit mit der nächstgrößeren Suite. Wellnessbereich sehr schön, schade: das römische Dampfbad hat zu wenig Dampf! Kinderspielplatz im Hotelpark sehr schön, Vermittlung des Kindermädchens mit € 25,00/Stunde etwas teuer. Drei kleine Kritikpunkte konnten den Gesamteindruck nicht trüben, wir werden Wiederkommen! Baca selengkapnya

Wij hebben heerlijk ons 5 jarig huwelijk gevierd. Als prinsen onthaald. Personeel denkt met je mee en wil alles doen om je een zeer aangenaam verblijf te maken. We hadden niet het gevoel een nummer te zijn. Echte oprecht personeel. Welness is top, zit in de prijs. Het ontbijt is zijn prijs waard. Je kan in en om het kasteel heerlijk eten. En lekker […] slenteren over het domein. Wij zijn echte luxe aanhangers en zeggen terecht dat dit hotel bij werelds beste hoort. Wij gaan zeker nog eens terug. 予約は口コミを見て行いましたが、想像以上の素晴らしさ。ロケーション（車じゃないと不便）、中庭、外観、設備も素晴らしいがスタッフの対応も非常に親切、丁寧。ホテルでのんびりと日々の疲れを取るという過ごし方がいいかもしれません。一泊だけでしたが二泊はしたかった。

Das grosse Schloss ist beeindruckend und wurde perfekt restauriert. Zum Ortskern Bensberg sind es 5 Minuten zu Fuss. Zum Wald mit schoenen Wanderrouten sind es nur 10 Minuten zu Fuss. Eine herrliche Lage auf einem Huegel mit weitem Blick auf Koeln.
