Travel with 4 eldly and 1 kid, sent a request to have rooms close to the main lobby. However, nothing was arranged, the rooms were far away from main lobby, we need to walk 10 mins under the hot sun to the main lobby to have breakfast, take a cap or other activities. We booked three beach front rooms, the air con in two of the rooms were not cool enough […] and unable to adjust the temperature! We found a big cockroach on our bad when we returned to room after dinner, horrible!!! We chose this hotel because of the facilities for kids, however, we could only find a few hens, goose and ducks in the Kiki Animal Farm; and the kid's club was very old and dirty, toys were old and torn. There is only two old & dirty carpets on the floor, no soft mats on floor. The actual environment of the kid's club is totally different from that shown in the hotel profile picture. Hotel was lovely but really let down by the outdated and worn outdoor furniture at the pool, the beach and the balconys. The room was worn too but in a rustic manner so was just acceptable. We stayed 2 nights at the Meritus and overall it was great. Checkin there was a delay for an unknown reason but we were given a complimentary drink and asked to relax in the lobby. The lobby is open but cool, quiet and the decor is lovely. We did have to wait for an hour but we were given a complimentary upgrade as we didnt make a fuss! The staff […] are very polite and helpful, we were buggied to our room which was on the groumd floor. The resort estate was clean, tropical abd very well kept... The superior room was huge, with a huge bed, seating area and coffee table, tv, separate dressing area aka walk in wardrobe, the bathroom was small but in good condition and very clean (as was the whole room). We also had a lake view to the rear with veranda. The breakfast was good, lots of variety to cater to all, noodles, eggs, toast, breads, pancakes, cereal, jjuice, tea coffee etc. The pool area is nice and clean, again with nicely landscaped surroundings including being able to trn ariund and walk straight onto the beach. The beach was clean and the sand was white! :) there were lots of people, but the beach was very spacious and never felt crammed. We also rented a jetski for 30 mins. Seems expensive but when you consider dinner outside of the resort, for 2 costs about £5, theres really little to complain about! We rented a car from the airport, very cheap for 2 days... The good: a. location - good beach front and near Cenang beach shops and eateries. b. hotel ambience pleasant and facilities a plenty. The bad: a. Booked 2 rooms with king sized beds. Ended up with single beds abutting each other. b. during check in was told we were being upgraded to lake facing rooms. Did not happen, instead the rooms we got (2302 […] and 2303) were quite a walk away from the main lobby. c. water pressure was very low. d. vent of air con in one of our rooms dropped off in the first night. Great resort, great location, well maintained grounds, and lovely, quiet beach. There were only a few minor issues with the service, but I would still recommend this resort to others. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was extensive and good quality.

Rooms are a nice size and very comfortable representing good value for money. Breakfast was a bit limited but there was plenty to satisfy anyone's tastes. They were all too eager to kick you out right on the dot of closing time. This seemed unnecessarily pushy. Wi Fi was only available at the front bar which was a substantial distance from most rooms […] - it should have been available in the breakfast area and preferably also in the rooms. The stuff was pretty good. They catered to every needs. However, every thing is over priced. The laundry services was well over what other hotel charges. There are services outside the hotel.

I've stayed in very many more expensive places - but only a few notably better. One of the staff members mentioned to us during a conversation that many of the staff had been there more than 15 years. Stayed 3n in group of 4. Convenient adjoining rooms with nice view over resort lake. Cats almost everywhere. A$3.50 cocktails on the beach during Happy Hour(s) were super and breakfast is worth waking up for. Hired a decent car (relaible/aircon) from airport for myr180 for 4 days :-)

Due to renovation of lobby, there's no Wifi area except for in the restaurant. There should be coverage of WIFI at temporary recep counter since lobby is on renovation.

Located in the beautiful Pelangi beach, a drive of about 15 mins from the Airport, MPBR is a beautiful hotel with a private beach. Within a few minutes walk are located the many many eating joints. Helpful staff of the hotel makes your stay quite enjoyable. Wish I could stay some more days.

Very good location near the busy beach of Cenang. A 10mins stroll along the beach will get you to the heart of Langkawi. Restaurants aplenty to cater to all palates though prices had sky rocketed. I can really recommend this place it's a beautiful hotel located at the beach with a very nice pool area. The towel service is great and great staff. You are not at all disturbed by the close located air port. If you do not include breakfast in your booking, it's quite expenisive to buy.

The hotel was in a good location and we had a very nice room even though it was too near the lobby and we could hear the house band each night. The pool and beach were all lovely. Everything was up to standard. The room was amazing and cosy. The King bed was supper comfortable. The walk-in wardrobe is pretty amazing. Our room balcony was next and overlooking the Casde Pool. During our last night, was awaken due to the power trip. The electrician came by within few minutes but it could not be resolve. So the hotel gave us another extra room for us to use. So altogether we got two rooms to use on our last night. Checkout was really no hassle. The buggy arrived within minutes after calling for them. Preis- /Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht überein. Zimmer sind eher altmodisch und nicht mehr auf dem neusten Stand. Für ein 4 Sternhotel eher schwach.

リクエストで海が見える部屋を希望していましたが、フロント近くの、目の前に海が広がる部屋にしてもらえました。サンセットがとてもきれいに見え、よかったです。 お店も近くにたくさんあり、レストランやマッサージも利用しました。 HISのカウンターもホテルの敷地内にあり、日本人スタッフが常駐しているので、おいしいレストランやおみやげのお店を教えていただいたり、マッサージ店も代わりに予約をいれていただいたりと、大変お世話になりました。 ナイトマーケットも歩いて行ける距離で、現地の雰囲気を味わえて楽しかったですよ！

今回で３回目の滞在です。スタッフの対応、ホテルの環境ともに気に入っています。ホテル前のビーチは他より白く、静かで快適に過ごせます。天気もよかったので、小さい魚が泳いでいるのが確認できるほど、海が透明でした。ホテルの敷地がとても広いので、ビーチチェアの数も十分あり、大人も子供も、それぞれお気に入りの場所でくつろいでいます。ホテルは繁華街（レストラン街）の端に位置しますが、散策を楽しみながらレストランへ向かえば、あっという間です。ホテルロビーとレストランが改装されていました。ロビーの女子トイレは開放感があり、ちょっと面白い造りになっています。全般的にスタッフは心地よいサービスを提供してくれ、特にＢＢＱディナーはお勧めです。味はさることながら、海辺で食事をとることができ、更にシェフが笑顔でサーブし […] てくれます。素敵なディナーを取ることができました。ランカウイの中でお勧めのホテルです。 Baca selengkapnya

長屋のようなコテージが敷地内に建ち並んでいます。私達はコネクティングでシービューのコテージにプールサイドヴィラからアップグレードしてもらったようです。 眺めはとても良かったです。しかし、長屋なので左右上下の部屋が繋がった古い木造の造りなので気になる方はいるかと思います。 レイクビューは絶対やめた方がいいですよ、茶色く泥水の沼って感じで 端で見ていても何であの状態がいいのかよくわかりませんでした。 部屋は古くてもタオルなどがふっくらと新しければいいですね…タオルもくたびれてます。 朝食は色んな種類があり、 レストランは新しくおしゃれな感じでよいです。

Die Zimmer sind veraltet und an der Sauberkeit sollte gearbeitet werden.

Rennovationen sind anstehend, wobei die Zimmer sehr sauber sind. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen reichlich und preislich und qualitativ in Ordnung.

This hotel had a standard like 2-3 stars and it was listed at hotels.com as a 4 stars hotel! The were to many people at the hotell and to few employees. The rooms were old and needed badly an upgrade. The breakfast was awful and it were queue for 10 min if you wanted an omelet. They didn't refil coffee and didn't ask you if you needed anything. Servicen er i top paa hotellet, og stedet er rigtigt laekkert, rent og paent. Det eneste minus er at man skal betale for de fleste af hotellets faciliteter. Dog er motionsrummet gratis - det er et plus. Generelt rigtig godt tilfreds.

Hotellet ligger väldigt bra, nära flygplatsen och med promenadavstånd till den stora turist/restauranggatan där man äter bra och billiga middagar vilket är skönt att kunna göra istället för att leva på hotellet. Hotel Meritus heeft een prachtige ligging aan het strand en is een 4 sterren hotel. We zijn rondgetrokken door Maleisië en daardoor in meerdere hotels verbleven door het hele land. Alle hotels hadden minder sterren dan Meritus maar presteerden minimaal gelijk en qua vriendelijkheid en hulpvaardigheid meestal zelfs beter. Detta hotell har perfekt läge, grönt o lummigt, nära till många bra matställen o shopping. Frukost o luncher vid poolen var jätte gott. Stranden är lång o härlig, ingen trängsel. Vynikající hotel na skvělém místě. Hezká pláž, v moři lehce planktonu (jediná výtka). 5 minut pěšky na místní pěší zónu a skvělou Sea Food restauraci Orkid Ria. Za poslední dobu zase jedna perfektní dovolená.

Hotell med meget god atmosfære hyggelig og serviceminded betjening. Området rundt er flott med blomster rundt bungalowene og et flott bassenganlegg for barna og andre som ikke ønsker å bade i sjøen. Det er plass til mange mennesker uten at det merkes det var god plass til alle. Strand rett nedenfor med lett tilgang på solsenger. Godt utvalg av spisesteder […] på hotellområdet. Det ble også servert buffè hver kveld med forskjellige tema. Maten er velsmakende. det var også mulig å sitte ute ved stranden på kvelden og nyte et glass vin i hyggelige omgivelser. Det er mulig å spasere fra hotellet til lokale spisesteder i "byen" der det også er et rikt utvalg av suvenirartikler i alle prisklasser. Hotellet kan også formidle turer på øyen bl.a. jungle track der man blir tatt med for å se på dyrelivet av en lokal guide. Det er også muligheter for båtturer for å oppleve dyrelivet. det er også muligheter for spa behandling og det tilbys massasje i ulike former på stranden mot betaling. Hotellet ligger ikke langt unna flyplassen men uten sjenerende støy fra flytrafikken.
