With an early morning arrival on my way to my meeting, I planned to drop off my bags with the bellman but was pleasantly surprised by the front desk person. Nice place and location in Downtown Seattle. Upgraded to corner suite, but extra window viewed directly into a parking garage. Front desk personnel apologized before I even saw the room and offered free internet and/or a movie. I would stay again.

Staff were exceptional. We asked them a number of questions about surrounding destinations and transportation. They told us everything we needed and then some. Hotel is nice but starting to look a little tired. The staff are young and not very helpful. The staff are nice enough but it is just not the kind of good service you expect from a quality hotel. If you want that, stay at the Fairmont of the Four Seasons. If you want young, funky and the illusion of quality, stay at the "W".

Really nice hotel but not the place if you're looking to have a business atmosphere. Definitely clean, but the towels in the room were old, thread bare and beige. Time to refresh the towels, W!

We were in town for an event and our room was not ready when promised, nor did we get a call like the desk said we would. We waited more than 15 minutes to check in and there was no parking available even by valet. The inside and outside staff were not communicating at all. I would never stay here again especially considering the price.

This was my first trip to Seattle and I stayed at the W with a friend. I think the lobby and bar are nice (a little overpriced...) but the rooms are just average. I paid extra for a "Spectacular" room which is situated on the higher floors, 14 and above. However the room I was given was on floor 16, but overlooking a lower portion of the building, facing an alley way. So really it was a low grade 4th floor room with a horrible view. Absolutely not worth the money!

This was the 2nd time staying at this location. I usually stay with the chain because of the comfort of the beds. And they're pretty consistant. I've stayed in, and visited several W Hotels. This one is one of the smaller setups ... both from the perspective of individual rooms and lobby spaces. It didn't have the colorful, sheek presence that most W's do. It's a fine hotel, but doesn't command the W price point.

Good stay for the price at W Hotel - great location near resturants, starbucks across the street, SeaTac Rail line a block away. Hotel staff was EXCELLENT - courteous, helpful. We needed somewhere convenient in downtown Seattle to spend one night and the W was perfect. Check-in process was fast and courteous. The room we got on the 15th floor was great. Bed was very comfortable. Really no complaints! Got a great rate from hotels.com as well!

Overall an excellent experience. Clean comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Satisfying breakfast (not included). Having to pay for WiFi in the room is quite a let-down though.

Perfectly placed for our Mom & Dad get-a-way night. Went to Benaroya Hall to catch a show and right back to the hotel afterwards. No parking hassels and no traffic delays.

We stayed at The W after going to a mariners game. The hotel was nice and overall we were impressed with the atmosphere and room.. We sat down in the restaurant to have a few drinks and dinner before the game and the service was terrible.. Very slow and very rude. Although the sushi was AMAZING!! I've stayed at this hotel quite a few times throughout the years. Unfortunately, our room was not ready by the 3 pm check-in. We were not notified by the front desk via text message when our room would be ready. We finally went up to the front desk for the third time and they said it was ready. I've been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. […] When a room is not ready on time, the management should at least offer you a drink in the bar to smooth out the situation or send an amenity to the room with an apology from the GM I will not stay at the W again as they lost my business with their non caring response to our situation.. The hotel itself was really comfy. They require a $45 valet parking, but we parked in the ace parking garage next door and it was less than $30. They offered us a free movie or free wifi because our room had a view of the parking garage. Will be staying here again.

We chose this hotel becuase it was walking distance to the Benaroya Hall where we saw a concert. We would recommend it for anyone traveling to Seattle to see a show there or any of the theatres near by too.

Great hotel - perfect location, excellent staff. As usual with a W hotel, staff are courteous and helpful, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. This hotel is in a great downtown location, lots of restaurants and bars nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

I could hear the guy in the next room sneeze... and was up all night because everytime someone closed a door my whole room echoed. I opted for the "green service" which just means that they dont clean your room, which is fine but my room was old and falling apart, one example is that the shower curtain kept falling down. We spent our last night in Seattle at the W. After 9 days of touring around the N.W. We were looking for comfort and ease... that is what we got! Beautiful... great location and excellent service. They gave us a late ck. out with no questions or attitude. Totally made our last day in the city so comfortable and enjoyable!
