Hotel staff were hard to find during the morning, day, and evening when you did find someone they were nice. Overall the rooms were fine the bathrooms are extremely small the door swings really close to the bathtub and toilet, so you have to manuver to open and close the door, it's really tight. Nice view of the mountains.. there were alot of hitchhikers […] and camping type road travelers in the field next to the hotel because the lot is empty. and It is right off the main highway convienent to get on and off to hotel. Very clean motel with nice firm beds. Very quiet. Staff was very helpful, especially in finding a personal embroidered pillowcase of my granddaughter's. The location is nice, with open fields behind the building. We experienced very very hot weather, but the air conditioners kept us cool even though we were on the top (second) floor. The pool was fun, […] safe, and adequate in size. My only discomfort was moving past a desk to get to bathroom. The chair was a little large, so when someone sat there, it was just a little uncomfortable to go to the closet and bathroom. Nice maid service and a good, but simple, continental breakfast. Although the motel appeared older, the rooms were clean. The pillows were decent and the bed was reasonably comfortable. I liked the fact that it included a microwave and refrigerator. This was our second visit this year. There won't be a third. The first room we were assigned hadn't been cleaned. The second rooms carpet was dirty. The sheets looked wrinkled...almost as if they hadn't been washed (I'm assuming they had been because they didn't smell bad). The check in staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean (although the towels were thread-bare). The "breakfast" was surprisingly bad. The man working was incredibly rude and boasted proudly "no protein here- we're carb friendly" and meant it. There wasn't a scrap of peanut butter, an egg, anything that resembled food you'd want your kids […] to eat. It was all sugar cereal, waffles, and garbage. That was a bummer. The hotel is exactly as expected - an Econolodge off of I-5. It's a perfectly safe place to keep your stuff and catch some sleep on a trip to Southern Oregon. Room was clean. Bathroom door would not latch and towels were threadbare. Dirty grout in shower. Only 3 of everything for four people. Worth the price for the little time we spent there.
