The location was handy to many of the areas we were scheduled for a weekend wedding. Probably would be good for visiting art galleries. We chose for price and location and are very pleased with the value we received. The room was small but as expected, and reasonably comfortable. The Hotel was in a very good posion with regard to my business cmmitments and the Staff, some of the most helpful and welcoming that I have experienced in any New York Hotel. "Small Room, Great Location"
Clean but tiny room. My wife had to sleep with our son cause we would not fit in the same bed. This is Manhattan. You will surely pay the price for the location. Was able to get an early check in on a Friday in March! Got a clean & big room for the city. Just wish we had normal size pillows on beds. Great hospitality from front desk and all employees we came in contact with. This is the 2nd time we stayed in Four Points, we did so in DC last year also. I THOUGHT THE STAFF TRIED VERY HARD TO ACCOMODATE US. I WANTED A LUGGAGE RACK TO PUT MY SUITCASE ON BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY SO THEY BROUGHT UP SOMETHING ELSE WHICH WORKED BUT I THINK THERE SHOULD BE LUGGAGE RACKS IN THE ROOM. Shocked at the poor quality of the accommodations. Will not choose this hotel again, period. Parking lot was full and had to drive to two other locations to find availability and then argue with the garage attendant to get the hotel's advertised rate. The room had dirty, stained carpets, and was in an overall shabby state. I was looking for a hotel […] to use frequently on business and this will certainly not be on the list. The location is convenient, 20mins walk to Time Square and close to all major attractions. "False pictures of view. Was no view!"
I was very disappointed with this hotel for valentines day. I specifically wanted an open city view, not a view of the building across the street. The pictures shown were certainly a false representation and none of the rooms could possibly have had the views shown as it was boxed in by other bigger buildings. "BAD CHOICE"
This hotel was in need of an upgrade. Bathroom tiles had mold, lights did not work, door lock was broken, rug was filthy. I woke up at 4:30 when 2 drunks opened my door with their key, they did not get in because of the upper lock. When I called the desk all he said was "sorry about that"...... "Nice weekend getaway hotel"
My son and I had an opportunity to grab a four day weekend in New York and picked a Four Points hotel because of the inexpensive yet reliable quality that the brand offers. We had a nice small room that was tidy, and offered the basics (clean washroom, fresh linens, etc.) The main benefits were the location (central to subways, various neighbourhood […] restaurants, within walking distance of Times Square, Madison Square Gardens), and reasonable price. The staff were very pleasant, and the only down side to the weekend was the sounds of doors closing in the hallway overnight - which was more a function of a light sleeper (me) rather than a complaint about the hotel per se. I was in the process of moving here so I stayed in about three different hotels. This was by far the nicest one for the price. Valet service who frequently let me get things out of my car without charge. Free wifi. Complimentary cupcakes from a top notch bakery as welcome gift. The room was adequate by NYC standards. Nice place to sleep but not much else. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were horrible. The location is perfect and the hotel staff is really nice except for one lady who checked me in at the front desk. She was not inviting nor friendly and when I asked a simple question I got a snotty half answer. She […] was the first impression of the hotel but luckily the experience got way better. "Stay at this hotel! Superb staff and comfort!"
We came to NYC to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We were married in Central Park last year. We stayed at the Sheraton in Times Square last year, but wanted a little change in pace to explore Chelsea, Soho, etc. without fighting the Christmas crowds to get outside of Times Square. I was hoping to have the same great service, comfortable room […] and attention to detail such as cleanliness and customer support as we did last year. We were not disappointed! What a great hotel - staff, room comfort and cleanliness. Everyone was really attentive from front desk staff to housekeeping. I also recommend the burgers at the hotel restaurant! "You don't spend much time in the room anyway..."
The hotel is in a very old building - Sheraton has done the very best they could with what they had to work with. Rooms are small, but that's typical of NYC. Soundproofing could be better, but acceptable nonetheless. Location is good, I felt safe walking around the area.Ulasan otentik tamu Expedia

"The dreadful four points"
This is not a three star anything. the room cannot acommodate three people let alone 4. the room was not clean and WIFI did not work.. this is the most grotesquely overpriced hotel in NYC , . "Not the best you can get for your money"
Staff is friendly but slow to respond. Rooms are clean but the floor smelled like it was cleaned with a cheap cleaning product. There are no curtains but blinders that don't close all the way, so we had light coming into the room all night.Ulasan otentik tamu Expedia

"Great value, friendly staff, cozy room"
I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel - while both the hotel and the rooms were quite small, it was very clean and tastefully decorated. I also thought it was a great value, because it was within easy walking distance of Empire State, Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza etc, as well as the conference center we attended. The staff was very friendly […] and helpful. I thought the street it was on was a little sketchy, but it's right between 6th and 7th Avenue, so you can move on pretty quickly.
