We stayed for 7 nights at the beginning of June. We had a two queen plus sofa bed suite with kitchen. The hotel itself is nice. Staff was friendly and check in was very quick. Our room was clean and the two queen beds were comfortable. Cannot say thee same about the sofa bed. The pool was nice and the hot tub was perfect. The pool area has hotel supplied […] towels but they were not always fully stocked. There was a breakfast provided complimentary with oatmeal, cereal, sausage, hash browns, eggs, toast, bananas, oranges and yogurt. I am not a breakfast person so this was not my thing. I could not tell you how the food tasted. In the evening the hotel also provided wine with pretzels and chips. Enjoyed our stay. We had a nice clean room. It was close to all of the major attractions in the area. The staff was very nice, helpful and personally concerned about our individual circumstances. Breakfast wasn't too bad, with a selection of cold and hot items that they alternated on different days. The hallways were kind of noisy when a large group […] of guests arrived but the room was quiet. Cold water tap in sinks didn't dispense water cold enough. Have stayed at this hotel before - it is nice and conveniently located to the Disney parks IF you have a car. There is very limited transportation provided by the hotel and Disney buses do not come to this hotel. If you stay here, you will be pleased with the price, but again, have your own transportation. Overall hotel was nice. Rooms were clean. Enjoyed the breakfast, had a pretty good selection for hotel breakfast. Selection changed each day. Had one issue where we reserved a crib and was told none were available. We had confirmed we had a reservation a few days before. The hotel had sub par rooms. Carpets had threads all over, the shower had mold, the cupboards were cheap plywood. The hotel needs a major renovation. Would NOT stay here again

This hotel has very squeeky faucets and pipes and every morning at 7am people would start their day by having a shower. Every morning I was awakened by squeeky pipes and running showers. Noise level otherwise was fine but this shower and pipes issue was very annoying as we were on a family vacation and very tired at the end of each day.

The location and amenities at this hotel make it ideal for a Orlando/Disney vacation. Rooms are sizable and nice. Full size fridge, dishwasher, etc. Breakfast was good and starts your day out right. Staff was very friendly from bottom to top. Highly recommended by this family of four.

We're a family of five and most places in Orlando do not offer cots and want you to pay for 2 rooms. I found that the Hawthorn had two queen size beds and a pullout couch - just what we needed. An added bonus was the kitchette AND 2 flat screen tvs. Yes, the hotel was dated and the hot breakfast was just like what is served everywhere else BUT it was […] a wonderful place to us. The staff was friendly, the room was ready when we got there 2 hours before checkin, and the location was AWESOME! Plenty of places to eat and shop, also very close to Downtown Disney. Also, to wind down from a busy day, we played pool and air hockey since it was too cold to swim or shoot baskets (yes, they have a pool and basketball court). AND, when we went to sleep, it was VERY quiet. My opinion is we more than got our money's worth. There are better, newer hotels practically on every side, so the choice is how much do you want to spend and do you want to spend a lot for a room you will spend very little time in - we made our choice and was more than satisfied! Right from when we arrived, we were very warmly received until we left 10 days later. The staff were exceptionally friendly and responsive when asked for help. We could not have asked for better service.

great central location, visited both coasts with Lake Buena Vista as our starting off point. Good free breakfast although the scrambled eggs were rubbery. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub, appeared well maintained.

The staff where pleasant and tentative and the rooms clean The breakfast was 'hit or miss' with strange items like various strange sugar doughnuts and tasteless eggs but then again it was complimentary. The hotel was great - but probably not the best or even in the top ten for convenience for visiting Disney. Although the hotel information lists the hotel as 1/2 mile from the Disney parks, it took 20 minutes to reach the Magic Kingdom and closer to 30 minutes for Animal Kingdom. The hotel also lists a free shuttle to Disney, but the shuttle also services […] several other hotels and runs on a fixed schedule (and allows NO STROLLERS)...so, what could take 20 minutes to travel to Magic Kingdom in a cab could turn in to over an hour on the shuttle. I was very disappointed in the convenience to Disney parks as this was the main "selling" point for me to stay at this hotel. The continental breakfast was very poor quality and selection. I have had great luck with Wyndham properties. This is not one of them. I booked the Executive King. The room was small, the carpet was not clean, and I just did not feel comfortable. The business center is a joke. You have to pay for internet time, and for copies.
