This B&B is in very good condition, wall paper and paint all fresh and spiffy. The host was most pleasant and the food was terrific. The real fire place... with the lovely Xmas decor on the mantle was charming. Because it was our anniversary we were looking for something exceptional and were willing to pay for it. But alas this didn't quite turn out as we had hoped.Having read other reviews we knew in advance that one downfall was that there was no dining room for breakfast and that all breaksfasts came to the room. They were delectable but one reason we like B&B's is the chance to meet other visitors. This is near impossible there. Also the room was very dark in the winter, and although a lovely tub, no shower. And the tub had no privacy - maybe a screen available would help. With the dark lampshades it was impossible to read in bed. I think we just picked a poor room for our needs. It was just not my idea of a B&B from a co-mingling or even chatting with the propriator goes. But good if you want to be left alone. Diulas oleh tamu Hotels.com pada Jan 3, 2013
