A bunch of my friends and I recently travelled to Rehoboth Beach for the marathon and half marathon. We all stayed at the boardwalk. The hotel was decorated beautifully for the holidays, and the overall hotel feel was from another era. Most of us had ocean view suites--the rooms were huge with entirely separate sitting area that lead to a balcony. Second stay at Rehoboth, first at the Boardwalk Plaza. Extra money was well spent. The Boardwalk Plaza hotel is Lovely and the staff was so accommodating. I wanted to mail some postcards and asked at the reception desk if there were stamps available for purchase. The gentleman attending the desk took my cards and told me he would make sure they were posted, no charge! I have stayed in Rehoboth on numerous occasions, but this was my first time at the Boardwalk Plaza Inn. My visit was on a Monday in January, so the rates were at the lowest they are for the year. "great hotel....poor service from Hotels.com"
We have a house under construction in Rehoboth and wanted to have a quiet evening with the Bride. called hotels.com to get a great rate on an oceanfront room. the rate was great. I asked the call taker three times that are you sure this was going to be an oceanfront room and assured it would be...well it wasn't. the room had an ocean view but not what […] I expected. Only staying one night so i didn't want to go through the effort to change rooms since it was late. Yes I didn't make waves but this will be my last time using hotels.com. Absolutely love every opportunity to stay at the Boardwalk Plaza but having stayed this time at an ocean view vs ocean front, I realize the amount of relaxation that is added to your stay when you can lay on your bed and look out on the beach. If you stay here no matter what type of room you are guaranteed the most amazing night's sleep due to the most […] incredible mattress I've ever slept upon.
