after staying in Manhattan for 3 days, this was a breath of fresh air! GREAT staff - very friendly and helpful! The room was very large. Breakfast was great. Also - amazing view of the city across the water. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!

It's the second time I have stayed at this facility and love it more each time. We have a bigger room than last time and it accomodated our entire family with four teenagers. WiFi is great and the breakfast buffet in the morning is always kept stocked. We had a good view of NYC for NEW YEAR's fireworks and flat screen TV's in two different rooms to […] watch the ball drop from the comfort of our own room. My recent stay at this hotel was wonderful. The furnishings were comfortable and the it was convienently located right across the river from downtown NYC. There is a large shopping district located right behind the hotel and you could find any type of food perference within a 5 minute walk. This hotel is worth visiting again.

We stayed overnight in conjunction with a wedding and reception that were held nearby. The hotel staff was exceptional, particularly the people at the front desk. Checkin was easy, there was a mixup with the room, which hadn't been cleaned when we sought to check in a 11 a.m. The staff switched us to another room in 10 minutes. This hotel and its location was far and away beyond my expectations. As well as being comfortable it was very accessable both to local shopping and getting over to Manhattan. Highly recommended.

Nice Hotel friendly staff, decent free wifi family had a good time. A friendly tip take free hotel shuttle to Water Ferry and use them fastest and most price effective.

If you want to avoid paying Manhattan prices for a room you can hardly swing a cat in this is a great alternative. We struggled a bit finding it when we first arrived and ended up travelling on a train with lots of friendly Jets fans. However, I would recommend a taxi. Travelling into and out of central New York was no problem as there is a regular […] bus service with a stop only one minute away from the hotel and at a reasonable cost Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We missed the evening food that was on offer because it ran from 5.30 - 7.00 and we were always late :). There are a few restaurants two minutes away and a clutch of other shops. Also within walking distance is a multiplex cinema and we discovered on our last morning that another five minutes away is a shopping centre with a wine and spirits shop, a large supermarket and an Outback steakhouse which my favourite. This means you can use the large fridge/freezer for something other than Haagen Daaz ice-cream! One thing to note - if you're taking a taxi from the hotel check the price with despatch. I loved this hotel. The location is great and these people know how breakfast at a hotel is supposed to be done. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of view. The hotel is on the Hudson River overlooking NYC. I called several weeks prior to request a room with a NYC view and they said I can only request […] that when I get to the front desk to check in. I was flying in from another state. The A/C unit, like so many hotels, makes the room cold without dehumidifying it, so even when it is cool, it is not comfortable. We had made our reservations well in advance for our July 4th stay. Without our knowing it, we were given a smokers' room, even though we specified non-smoking when we made the reservation. When we complained, the person at the desk just shrugged his shoulders and offered no apology. We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a great view of the new york skyline at night and the bus took us in to New York each day in about 20 minutes. The breakfast here was one of the best we have ever had in a hotel hot buffet breakfast. They took good care of us!

I've stayed at the Edgewater Homewood Suites several times because it is so conveniently located, but this was my last stay. I can't accept the terrible service any longer. The Front Desk staff doesn't bother to greet customers as they arrive, instead finishing conversations with co-workers without even pausing, the breakfast buffet staff rarely notices […] when food needs to be replenished - and then when they do replenish they insert the filled tray and immediately serve themselves or their co-workers a portion while guests stand and wait. it's unacceptable. The maid service leaves the shower on the inoperable setting (we waited 40 minutes - and it took two calls - for the Front Desk to send someone to adjust the unmarked shower head so it would work). Next time I'll be at the Fort Lee Doubletree - a bit further from my target but the service makes the extra driving well worth while. Baca selengkapnya

breakfast was not good, but everything else was good, free shuttle was great

hotel has a shuttle to the ferry to access nyc. overall pretty clean but that is about it. They did a better job at getting me to the ferry and the food was okay.

Our stay at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Edgewater was a good choice and perfect location for our New Year's Eve celebration. The 8th floor offers a spectacular view of the Hudson river and New York. The ferry is such a convenient way of getting to New York from the hotel, which takes less than 10 minutes. The hotel has a shuttIe service to the ferry. I […] would like to however suggest that the hotel considers putting more pictures on its website especially those of the hotel overlooking the Hudson river. So, in a nutshell, I dont think the pictures on the website do justice to what the hotel offers and what it actually looks like. Hotel was good value for price, nice breakfast set up. Room was clean and accomodating. One thing I did not like, when we went out for dinner, I asked for "turndown" service (to freshen up the room). I was told that was not possible because housekeeping had gone home for the day. So I asked if at least a few more towels can be delivered to the room. […] They said sure....towels never came. This hotel may be one of the few in the Edgewater area. We found that it offers exceptional views of Manhattan, and its location (on The Promenade) is great. We were able to walk around to the various shopping venues (Banana Republic, etc.) and were able to take pictures of the Manhattan skyline from the walking park. There was an unfortunate incident […] during our stay where the fire alarm went off around 4am in the morning for a period of 15-20 minutes. The hotel staff came onto a building-wide PA system to let everyone know that it wasn't a true emergency, but it was inconvenient nonetheless. 滞在型ホテルとしては、環境が良く良いと思います。 家族が、近隣に住んでいる関係で利用しました。ホテルからの送迎とNYへのフェリーを上手く利用すれば、昼はNYを満喫、夜は夜景を堪能できるので、 次回も利用したいと思います。 ホテルの夕食が、週末ないのが少し不便です

Das Hotel ist direkt am Hudson gelegen, genau gegenüber Manhattan, Höhe nördl. Central Park. Die Aussicht auf die Skyline ist überwältigend. Mit einem Linienbus (NJ Transit 158) ist man in 20 min am Timesquare. Der Preis ist günstig, zumal Frühstück und Dinner (falls man so früh im Hotel zurück sein möchte) inclusive sind, kein Vergleich zu Manhattan. […] Es ist sehr angenehm, den Trubel von NYC am späten Abend hinter sich zu lassen. Great alternative to Manhattan hotels if you are prepared to take a 25 min's ride on the bus into the bus terminal close to Times Square. Friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast variety included in price as well as free wifi. Shopping facilities next to hotel and Target supermarket in about 0,5 miles north. Also recommendable for runners, both […] directions north as well as south along the Hudson river work and offer spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline. Boardwalk starts about a mile south. el servicio de transporte tiene problemas con el transporte al Ferry. Un día ibamos rumbo al terminal del Ferry cuando de pronto llamó una señora a la conductora y nos hicieron devolver, nos molesto bastante porque esto nos hizo llegar tarde a la cita de trabajo. El hotel ofrece servicio de transporte cada 15 minutos al Ferry pero en dos ocasiones […] llegamos al terminal y nos toco llamar al hotel para que nos recogieran. We chose this hotel because it had better accomodations at that price than any other in Manhattan. The only complaint we have is that damp was spreading in the shower. No smell of mold, though. The breakfast was rich, but we would have liked slices of cheese and ham to go with the bread. There is a bus outside the hotel, 158, that goes to the bus terminal […] in Manhattan - right into the center of town. You can also go by ferry, just ask for the hotel shuttle to take you there. You can also phone the hotel and ask to be picked up. There are some restaurants nearby and a shopping center a couple of miles down the road. 長期滞在（５日間）でした。 ３日目はルームキーパーが来ず、注文しましたが時間が過ぎているからだめと言われ、その後のフォローも対応が今１つでした。 レセプションは気分が良かったです。ロビーはくつろげていい雰囲気でした。 値段も家族でいけばまずまずの値段。 アクセスはマンハッタンに行くにはバスでしょうか。行きはなんとかなりますが、帰りの42nd Port Authoriry Bus Terminal からの乗車はこつがいりました。 景色はいいです。ハドソン川越のマンハッタンはそうは見れないのでは？ 食材はＭｉｔｓｕｗａやＣｏｍｍｏｎｓがあるので、現地や日本の食事も選べます。ホテルのとなりのMexico料理はすごくいいです。

Hieno paikka mutta kaukana Manhattanista. Oma auto tai taksin käyttö ainoa mahdollisuus päästä liikkumaan. Manhattan kuvastuu Hudsonjoen vastarannalla mukvasti. Siisti ja todella miellyttävät huoneistot. Ei kaikkein halvimpia mutta silti voisin harkita uudelleen. Ainoa ongelma liittyi jääkaappipakastimen jääkoneen käyttöön, josta ei ollut ohjeita.

Great Hotel, with excellent services, no doubt. However (and this is NOT a blame of the Hotel), transportation across the Hudson River is VERY expensive - not to mention Taxi-fares.

Veldig fint hotell! Flott utsikt, fine og store rom, gode senger og god frokost. Hadde en toroms til fire personer med to queenssize senger. God plass! Shuttleservicen funker fint for å komme seg til ferja over til Manhattan, men ferja er forholdsvis dyr(17$ tur-retur). Men et slikt hotell koster til gjengjeld langt mer på Manhattan så ferjebilletten […] var verdt det slik sett.
