I was very pleased with this hotel. We had two rooms - 606 had a balcony which was really nice to have, although the view was so-so. The other room on the fourth floor was smaller and the air conditioning did not work that well. The staff spoke English and they were very nice. They have valet parking for a fee. Location was convenient - we walked to […] the mercados and to Capella Palatine but that walk was about 20 minutes. There is a nightclub down the street but it was not loud at all. Central location that allows walking to most visiting sites. The hotel is rated 4-star, but I would give it three. The front-desk staff speaks English; breakfast is good, nothing fancy but it serves its purpose. The bathroom looks better on the website. On our last day there, we decided to change our plane tickets and called Alitalia for around 10 minutes. […] We were charged 85Euro for the phone call (changing the tickets cost us 50Euro/person) and that left a bitter taste. We traveled with an 8-year old and the room had a king bed and a sofa bed. If you plan on using the sofa bed, ask for additional pillows and sheets. The fitness facility is a bit run down. The room was large and beautiful and the service was friendly. I would expect a little more competent service for a 5 star hotel when we asked for help in communicating with some agency. The negative part was that the hotel is located in front of a bar that stays noisy until very late (around 2:00 AM). we loved our spacious, comfortable room and the excellent buffet breakfast. On our last night we were given a complimentary suite and a bottle of wine! Parking too was very easy. The hotel is a stately, attractive historic building. I would return.

Hotel service could not be faulted. Clean towels and sheets every day. Staff really helpful. However the bed was too hard and the shower flooded the bathroom floor. The hotel was in a central location near the Teatro Politiamo.

What an incredible hotel! Great location, right in the centre of the city, close to many restaurants offering very typical Palermitan dishes. The breakfast is excellent with ample food. Stayed for 3 nights and was very impressed with everything. Large room, mini bar (not too expensive) and arrived to find a complimentary bottle of wine in the room. Needed extra pillows which were brought to us straight away. Great location in Palermo, near to bus stops for airport and sight seeing, but in a quiet street. We stayed in a hotel at the beginning of this January. It was just an escape from cold and humid winter to a warmest place in Europe - just vacations, no business, no todo's, no long preparations. We decided that everything we need to know we'll know upon arrival, so choosed this hotel for its location, free wifi internet and general star level. And […] no regrets for this decision. Hotel is clean. Of course, white in carpets was not snow-white, but it was really clean. Room was really spacious, bathroom was enough big and with window. It were two wardrobes upon arrival, but since one was not used during first day, it was removed... Hotel is quiet some days of the week (American restaurant is still across the street), but you can close the window (it's easy in winter), and there are still a lot of rooms with windows to another street. Breakfast is good. To tell more - the best scrambled eggs and especially ham slices outside USA. Good choice of pastries, 2-3 types of cheese, yoghurts, cereals, coffee of your choice, friendly staff. Internet was free and speedy, you only need to ask for login/pass at reception, you can do this by phone. During weekend we rented a car, and were very surprised that hotel parking on these days was free of charge. If you'll add 2 blocks to Via Roma, 1/2 block to Via Marqueda, 2 blocks to Politeama and Massima and 30 Euros to Mondello beach by taxi (note there is no beach in Palermo!) - you'll agree that Federico II is what you need. Hotel is centrally located few metres away from Via Roma and Via della Liberta'. Parking facilities excellent, considering the fact that, it is impossible to park in Palermo. Vi bestilte hotellet på Hotels.com og fik en betydelig rabat. Hotellet var rigtig flot til prisen, stort værelse og god beliggenhed. Tæt på shopping og restauranter. Nemt at komme til lufthavnen fra hotellet, da lufthavnsbussen går 5 minutter derfra. Fin morgenmadsbuffet.

Fint hotel til prisen, vi var der i sommerpeioden og måske er hotellet bedst som business hotel. men i forhold til pris, beliggenhed, service ikke noget at klage på - indretning er en smagssag men vi nyder dette pust fra fortiden med træ og tykke tæppe - en tidslomme midt i palerno - fint

E' un ottimo Hotel, mi sono trovata benissimo, facile da raggiungere in quanto molto centrale. Il servizio è davvero eccellente e il personale molto gentile. Sicuramente tornerò al Federico II.

Hotel importante al centro di Palermo, con tanto di facchino ad attendere all'arrivo degli ospiti. Appena si entra la sorpresa di trovarsi una struttura vecchia. Arredamento datato, servizi idem. La stanza una superior con: 1) evidenti macchie sui muri sparsi per tutto il perimetro della camera, 2) tv con canali satellitari, che a malapena si sintonizzava […] in quelli di Palermo e provincia, 3) materassi con le molle in bella mostra, da farmi alzare la mattina con un gran mal di schiena. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße mitten in der Altstadt von Palermo. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten kann man zu Fuß erreichen. Non è stata assegnata (con motivazioni non credibili e superficiali) la camera "superior" come stabilito, ma la "standard" che ha una finestra interna e con una veduta letteralmente squallida su una tettoia piena di sporcizie più varie.

Ottima posizione ! Quando si arriva all'aeroporto e si prende il comodo autobus per il centro, si scende a piazza Politeama (penultima fermata)e da lì sono veramente solo cinque minuti a piedi. Il personale è tutto gentilissimo. Noi abbiamo perso la macchina fotografica e prima ancora che ce ne accorgessimo ci hanno chiamato alla reception per avvisarci […] che qualcuno l'aveva trovata e consegnata loro per custodirla. Es un Hotel muy bien ubicado. Tal vez le falte algo de remodelacion, el agua en las duchas se escurre al piso del baño. En lo demas excelente, muy buena atencion. Lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados.
