We stayed in HK for 6 nights - this hotel offered a comfy stay and value for money. Great location and friendly staff - we have a 3-person room which although not huge, was comfortable. Would recommend to those staying for quite a while in HK and not wanting to pay premium prices!

The hotel was clean and stylish: from the decor of the lobby to the design of the room. Television in the room gives you a variety of global channels. Breakfast buffet has some variety, pretty good if it it's included in the price of your room.

My husband and I stayed 8 nights at the Cosmo in January 2013. The room was on the small size but this is usual in Hong Kong (we have stayed in smaller). The room was nicely fitted out- bed was firm but not too hard, there was sufficient furniture and robe space, good quality fittings in the ensuite, the windows were frosted but that didn’t bother us, […] plenty of toiletries and the room was well serviced. The free wifi, coffee and fruit in the Breeze lounge area were appreciated. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room didn’t include breakfast but we were given 50% off vouchers any day we wanted. The buffet breakfast was good and alternated between Chinese and Western hot food – but you could get cooked eggs every day (I recommend the poached eggs) and there were plenty of other options for the western palate. The hotel was within walking distance of bus stations, train station, tram, convenience stores, bars and restaurants. Taxis are a cheap alternative if you don’t want to tackle the public transport. Hotel is clean but small... it is more convenient to take hotel shuttle bus and citybus rather than walk so far to MTR... it's tiring to walk up the slope back to hotel as the subway tunnel back to hotel is smelly with urine smell which is why we avoid using the subway tunnel... overall a nice experience , staff are helpful but room is very small but […] has every essential stuff just no space to put the many things we buy... The Hotel gives a free drink voucher for a juice drink or beer. We had the free drink and then another paid for drink £6 each for a small beer. (just stick with the free one!) Another thing we did wrong was look at the hotel menu for breakfast (in the rooms meal details) Then we went down to breakfast but the food options were totally different. We stayed at the Cosmo for three nights in the two bedroom suite. The suite is large for a hong kong room and the bed and bed rooms are comfortable with a range of pillow supplied.The bath rooms were disappointing,small and poorly arranged. We planned to stay at Cosmo for 3 nights, but it was unexpectedly extended to 6 nights with my husband fell ill. Most of the staffs are very helpful and sympathetic in sorting out the paperwork for me, reducing the amount of work i had to deal with in this unpleasant event. It is mixed with some evening shift staffs that are less trained hence less […] efficient in dealing my queries. But above all, we recommend this hotel, in regard of the location to the centre of causeway bay, 5 mins walk to MTR, and the cleanses of the room, although it was small but we only need a clean and comfort sleep at night primarily. The free wifi at level 5 was a plus point to have a break with opening air cafe. The Cosmo worked perfectly for me as I wanted to spend a week in Hong Kong and get to know the city. I love to walk and city was "walker friendly" with its amazing walkways and escalotors that take you up and down the hills of Hong Kong. The location of the hotel on Hong Kong Island made it near everything as I had easy access to the Metro and busses. […] Also, I could walk to several neighborhoods for restaurants and shopping. I took full advanteg of the hotel's courtesy van which runs consistently on a published schedule -- I went to Hong Kong Station most times to access the city and the surrounding islands as well as to return to the hotel. I read several reviews which questioned the convenience of the hotel's location -- I found the location very convenient -- even preferred that it was not in Central Hong Kong. Also, I read many reviews which questioned the size of the rooms -- I found my room was spacious and well decorated. The Hotel as an excellent restaurand that it shares with the Cosmopoltan Hotel. There was stains in the carpet not to mention that the room only got made-up twice in the whole 8 nights that we stayed there. Also there was mould all over the tiles in the shower and black spots in the bath. The room i was given upon arrival was not good the wash basin was cracked .the windows were frosted and could not see out i suspect this was because the view would have been of the huge grave yard. I requested an upgrade to a room with a view and was provided at cost a room with a view across a part of Hong Kong this was fine. This Hotel provided myself and my partner with everything we needed for a long weekend in Hong Kong. It was our 1st trip to the city and the staff were extremely polite and helpful in giving us tips on where to go and how to get there. The rooms were very clean and although a little on the small side very comfortable and quiet. we found the Hotel […] location superb, there's an MTR (underground) station about a 10 minute walk away along with plenty of shops and bars. taxis are extremely easy to find and buses frequently pass the front of the Hotel. We found that Taxi or MTR were the best modes of transport with MTR probably being the quickest and cheapest, taxi rides can tend to take a little longer than expected due to the traffic in Hong Kong. overall a very enjoyable stay, would definitely return to the Cosmo in the future. Convinient location, few minutes walk to shopping and restaurants. 8-10 minutes walk to convention center. It's easier to walk then take a taxi and it's faster, with all the one way streets and traffic. Small boutique hotel with nice rooms, think small but comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient. It was overall a very good stay, I was quite impressed. My first time in HK but not my first time to Asia, I was here for a convention, about a good 10min walk from the HK expo/convention center. As an expedia elite member I received a room upgrade and free wi-fi so that was super cool. Rooms are smaller than the regular US based hotels but very functional. Location, […] 10min walk to subway and about $30-$40HKD ($7USD) taxi ride from all the major attractions, about $2.50 on the subway (.30 cents USD) which is great to get around during rush hour. Get an OCTOPUS cash card at any 7-11 stores (almost every few blocks like the US), this is an awesome payment/subway payment method. You don't want to stand in line getting subway ticket, with your loaded with $ Octopus card, you can tap the turnkey for entry. Subway fare depends on how far is your journey. You can also use this card at most retail stores and it's FAST!!! takes about 1-2 seconds to complete your purchase. My stay ok, the executive suite was half the size as hotel rooms in Europe, the US and Macau, but I think that's normal in Hong Kong. The view was great. The buffet wasn't fantastic. Apart from dust behind furniture the room was fairly clean.
