"Great Getaway"
Very nice old hotel near town. The staff is very nice, A couple small things they could work on. They never told us we needed a code to get in the building, so we spent some time figuring out how to get in the hotel until we were rescued and given a code. "Beautiful Inn, Terrible Room and Conveniences"
I would not recommend this hotel for business travel. I arrived at 6:45 and a note was taped to the front door of the inn with instructions as to where to find my key to let myself in. When I found my room - 2 buildings away, it was smaller than the smallest room I've ever booked in Manhattan - and, the 9"x9" TV didn't work. After calling the answering […] service three times, a person finally knocked on my door to install a cable box. He had to unplug the coffee maker because in order to plug in the cable box as there were no other outlets in the room. I had to check out by 7:00 a.m. - before the staff arrived.
