"close to the in-laws, but not too close"
brand new and very welcoming. the pool was lovely. dining rooms were under construction, but they still managed to pull off an excellent hot breakfast in one of the conference rooms...impressive.

Had great stay here with a friend after a wedding reception. The staff were friendly and professional and the breakfast was great fuel for the day after checkout. Would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a comfortable quiet room near Mineola.

The Hampton Inn is currently under refinishing as a result plastic covered halls, the main desk and other areas. The room was very good.

The Hampton Inn was under renovation so the entrances , corridors, and desk was being changed frequently. didn't really relish the4 taste of plaster dust with my morning coffee.

Great hotel and clean. Near restaurants and malls in Long Island. Convinently between LGA and JFK. Comfortable and great variety at the breakfast buffet.
"Nice Hotel...unfortunately under major renovations"
Have stayed here before, nice place - very clean. Unfortunately, the lounge - kitchen area - eating area - were under major renovations. Although the construction staff were very quiet, the smell of paint permeated the place. Rooms blocked off with plastic & tape ... I would stay again in the future, but would book directly with the hotel.

My fiance & I enjoyed our stay very much. There were several perks that were free and much appreciated, such as breakfast, a microwave, a mini-fridge, a pool and a gym. The only negative was finding the hotel, as the address did not work correctly with our GPS.

Pool was not heated and would have liked a whirlpool. Room was nice but the bed very soft. The breakfast buffet was very good! We really enjoyed the coffee. Location easily accessable to parkways and sghopping mall!

I reserved a room on October 3rd for my husbands birthday, just wanted a nice to enjoy the day, and wan not disappointed. We really enjoyed the time we spent there, it's a pity we did not have more time to stay, really comfortable. looking forward to visiting the near future. LOVED IT.

We went for one night for a reunion weekend. The hotel met all of our needs. It was difficult to find without a GPS, but overall, it was comfortable stay. The area is very commercial, but that would be expected.

Stayed in between planes. Was accommodated by early check in. VERY much appreciated that.... Room clean, bathroom clean, comfortable. Woman at desk was helpful.

"The best of all"
We stayed at 3 different hotels this week, in 3 different states. This hotel was our most enjoyable, the only thing I would say needed some improvement is for the pool to be heated.

"Awesome stay and HUGE room!"
For NY, the room was huge! The room service was great and the breakfast was a plus. We stayed here two nights for pre-wedding functions, and shared the room with a few others, and it was extremely spacious and accommodated all of us very easily. Also, there was a nice size fridge and microwave in the room, which was very convenient for those late nights! […] The surrounding area was great too with a shopping mall, panera, barnes and noble (w/ a starbucks). This place was just perfect! I was very disappointed about the location, we could not locate the hotel, the hotel has the same street name North Ave as a residential street with in 15 minutes of each other, Therefore we kept going in circles and not being able to locate the hotel especially when you're from out of town, If you've never stayed at that location you will have some […] terrible time finding the hotel. "Clean, comfortable and convenient"
And exceedingly affordable, even on a Saturday stay. Will be making this my regular haunt when visiting the NY metro area.
This hotel was the right off the highway (thankfully!). Front desk staff was courteous, knowledgeable about the area and helpful with directions. Decor-wise, the room was so-so, but the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good too. I wasn't expecting all the choices that they had to offer, so it was a refreshing surprise.

This hotel nice. Room was clean. Staff was nice. I appreciated that the lady at the front desk was gorgeous. The indoor pool is great during the winter months.

I am a fan of the Hamilton Inn's throughout the east coast. I was not happy with the front desk person who made me wait to be checked in. Also, the room chairs were old dirty and someibe should replace them. I have no clue why the mattress would not stay on the bed. Also, the air conditioner unit was very loud. I pray that the room will be updated. […] In closing, I asked the front desk person for the luggage cart to help take the luggage to the car, and she said it was in use and they only had two. "Good clean, new hotel in Garden City"
stayed over weekend at Hampton Inn and everything was perfect. The only downside is the hotel is situated in an abandoned industrial area, need car to get to main roads where all the shopping and dining are. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet and breakfast was decent. Saff freindly and helpful.
Like most of the motels and hotels these days, the room was comfortable and I do appreciate having the air conditioning turned on before I got into my room. The one problem is the bedding. There is a top sheet and then a somewhat heavy hot quilt on top, no other blanket. I have complained about this many times. The bedding should consist of a top sheet […] along with a lightweight blanket under the quilt so it would be more comfortable to sleep at all times of the year for people who like it cool. The hotel was great. The only exception is the address listed on Hotels.com took me to the wrong address. The desk clerk had me use '700 North Avenue' and that took me right to the front door.

All staff were helpful during my stay. The breakfast selections provided was very good. The hotel has easy access toa Major Mall and restaurants.

My reservation was waiting after a late check-in. We reserved two rooms and they were near one another. We had a clean, comfortable room and comfortable beds. My son needed an ironing board to press his pants and did not have one in his room so he used mine. The staff was pleasant and friendly and the breakfast was very nice with lots of choices.

We stayed 2 nights at the Hampton Inn and could not have been happier. The room was comfortable for our party of 4, and clean. The location is convenient to a mall and restaurants. It is not a "pretty" location in that it sits amidst an industrial park, but that did not matter to us. The hotel itself was lovely, with tulips out front and a welcoming […] lobby. The staff was friendly and efficient. It was great having breakfast included and it satisfied everyone in our party. "Not quite there!!"
The staff were friendly and helpful but some of the "amenities" were a bit lacking. If you like having to perch on tables or have you breakfast in you lap, because there aren't enough tables and chairs in the breakfast room then this is for you. Also, what is the thing with polystyrene plates and plastic cutlery in America, how about a china plate, […] a metal spoon and a glass for juice? "Simply Perfect"
We attended a wedding at Jerico Terrace, and decided not to travel back to Staten Island. The proximity of the hotel to the event was 1.9 miles, perfect for our needs. Check in time was quick and the room was neat, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. "Hotel near Garden City, NY"
Location is not very pretty, but this seems to be a business focused hotel, so it's probably not important. Everything seemed to me to be as advertised. People were pleasant and cooperative with a very early check in.

Overall a pretty standard hotel experience. The breakfast was pretty good. One complaint, I used the workout room and it was set at 74 degrees when I walked in. WAY too hot! Made for a less than pleasant workout.
