Great hotel for business travelers. The rooms are clean, great breakfast, comfortable beds, nice flatscreens with HBO. The refrigerator and microwave are convenienct for not having to eat out every night as well. Only complaint is that it's outside of town away from most of the action.

This hotel in the southern area of Nacogdoches is clean and tidy. The staff is very nice. Good breakfast, robust coffee (very important to me) is good. Hot tub was working and clean at Christmas time. Beds are comfortable, room kept clean, good TV, free internet. A bit far from food but worth the clean accommodations.

We travel to Nac quite often to attend SFA sports and concerts. The Hampton has been our best stay and I regret it took this long to find. Since its a college town, there are many places to choose from and in the beginning, price is the primary factor in deciding. Those hotels that are $40-50 cheaper were awful. The Hampton had a great breakfast; great […] water pressure; nice furniture and beds; free wifi. The TV channels switched quickly - I know that sounds petty, but when you have to wait 3 seconds to change a channel at 11 pm it gets annoying. We didn't hear noises from other rooms - some noise from the hallway, but not much. Very nice place and we will return. The toilet was clogged-nearly over- flowing. This seems to happen often at this hotel since people flush towels down the toilet. Maybe they should be checked before offering them to clientel.

Very clean and comfortable!!!

Great value for what you get....very roomy, clean room.

I've stayed at a number of hotels in Nacogdoches. My daughter plays Volleyball for SFA. Her games in the early afternoon put us into Nac before check-in. Since it is a 4 hour drive from Austin, it is nice to check in early get settled and relax before sitting through a 3 hour long VB match. We normally arrive at 1pm for a 2 or 3pm match. It was very clean, had all the accommodations, and was pretty comfortable. The complementary breakfast was good. Its kinda out side of town but its not too far out. I would be happy to stay there again.

Hotel is well located near city limits and college campus. Rack rate may be a little pricey compared to the competition.

The hotel was beautiful and in close vicinity to Stephen F Austin University where we took our daughter to college. The romm was perfect with excellent staff and the breakfast buffet was a welcome treat. We certainly intend to stay here again.

I purchased two rooms for two nights, and I asked to have connecting rooms since we were with family members. I was told that the hotel had just one set of connecting rooms and that one of those rooms was being fumigated to make it a non-smoking room and was not available for occupation. I did not have a problem with that until later on our first night, […] I saw a man use a hotel key to enter the room that I was denied when we checked in 5 hours earlier. The hotel was far from full, so I was not happy that I could not have had the room I asked for but someone else was given the room. There were several other issues with our rooms. The phones did not work in one room, and the television volume in both rooms was set so low that you could barely hear them and there was no way to make the sound louder using the controls. When asked about the volume and why it wouldn't go any louder, the hotel clerk said that they were purposefully set that low because the walls were too thin and customers complained about hearing through the walls. On the second day, the television completely stopped working in one of our rooms, but the hotel staff changed it out quickly. The hotel was clean and nice, and the employees were helpful and polite. The breakfast was enjoyable. I do wonder if the very low rate that we were able to secure for the room had anything to do with the rooms that we were allowed/not allowed to stay in. Very nice hotel for the area. We have to stay in Nacogdoches several times a year and have found the area hotels very hit or miss, but we were very pleasantly surprised with this Hampton Inn. The room very clean, finished out nicely. Will definitely plan to stay here again.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. Everything you want and need in little Nacogdoches. Close to eating establishments and only about 5 minutes away from the college and city center.

I have no complaints aboutbthe hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Even while we were gone out on a family event housekeeping cleaned our room. My only complaint is that there wasn't any bellman to take our things up. They had the trollies for your bags to use but no one to assist.

We always choose this hotel when we visit Nacogdoches. The location is great and the rates are reasonable. The staff is consistently courteous and accommodating. My kids love the waffle iron, too!

We travel to this area once a year for a reunion. We have stayed at several other properties over the years but this one is the best. I always try to stay at Hampton Inns because they are always clean and friendly. This hotel was no exception. Everything went well from check-in to check-out. The only negative thing I have to say is that the eggs at the breakfast buffet were a little dry. Other than that, the front desk service was great and the hotel was very clean and quiet.

Nice hotel...pricier than other Hampton Inns. Overall good experience

This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel and I am still very impressed by its quality of service, the affordability, and the cleanliness. I have only praises for this hotel and will definitely stay again if I am ever in Nacogdoches on business or pleasure again. THANK YOU for a pleasant experience.

Although not extremely close to the campus of Stephen F. Austin. This likely will be the hotel we return to again and again. We've come to visit our college student several times and each time our experience at other holes was a bit disappointing. The Hampton was amazing. The room was spotless. I felt the carpets were extremely clean. ...and the breakfast […] was bountiful. Everything from yogurts (including Activia (r) and sugar-free options) to mini omlettes, to bagels w/ cream cheese, to the ubiquitous hotel waffles. There were international businessmen and one of the national college teams for the college bass fishing tournament. I was very satisfied with my stay here. It was kind of funny Sunday night when I checked in because I was on the second floor and took my luggage and hanging clothes on up to the room. I hooked up my laptop to the convenient free internet service and just relaxed for about 30 minutes. I still had two bags in the car that were loaded with college books […] and things to study. I am attending SFA via online classes and I was there for two days for workshops. When I started down, the elevator would not come up. I looked around for stairs but did not see any. The place was so quiet it was like I was the only one on the second floor. (sorta eery feeling at first). Then I saw a man coming from what I found out were the stairs. He told me the elevator wasn't working but it was getting fixed and would be ready as soon as possible and he apologized for the inconvenience. I walked downstairs and retrieved my bags. The elevator was fixed within ten minutes, although I went ahead and walked back up then with my two heavy bags. I needed the exercise anyway. This isn't a complaint, because the hotel was very nice and the people were great. I loved my stay and when I return for my next workshops in January or February, the Hampton will be my first choice. Very nice hotel. Clean, well-kept, comfortable, great breakfast buffet, great location. I was impressed!

A nice very new hotel. Our room was located next door to a conference room. A large group of people went in and out of the door until very late in the night keeping us awake from the door banging. Other than the locaiton of our room we were pleased.
