"Holiday Inn Kenilworth - care with room allocation"
Have stayed at this hotel a few times on business & experienced no issues. However, for last stay was allocated a new room crammed in beside mini gym. Room was comfortable but is positioned directly above service entrance. Noise from deliveries, bottle bins being emptied is very disturbing, and starts about 5am each day. "Lovely hotel"
My Husband and I stayed at this hotel for our Wedding Anniversary and would definately return. The staff organised some champagne for the room (extra charge) and we got upgraded upon check in. Staff were very friendly and the location of the hotel is perfect for a wander around Kenilworth.
"Reception"
I would like to take this opportunity to offer praise for the staff working on reception at both check in and check out. Extremely efficient service, very polite and helpful in dealing with my queries. I was so impressed and would definately reccomend this hotel.
"comfortable and convenient"
The staff is wonderful at the HI Kenilworth - very customer focused which is nice to find these days. The room was superb - my only complaint is the location of the hair dryer. It's hard wired into a cabinet in front of the tv with no access to a mirror. the bed was comfortable, the room layout spacious, fast internet connection, easy walking distance […] to numerous restaurants. "typical hotel"
The bed was comfortable but you're not going to find alot of creature comforts in Kenilworth. The on site restaurant was convenience but pricey with few selections. Breakfast was the same every day. There wasn't an ice machine and the only place to buy a soda was the hotel bar. The city is small - few restaurants, no fast food places, most stores close […] by 6pm. "good experience"
friendly staff, clean rooms, however not enough parking opportunity (we spent an hour for getting a parking, but still outside of hotel) and..if you want have a full range of breakfast..do not sleep too long
