The hotel itself is very sweet and in a very central location - no more than a 3 minute walk to all the restaurants in the centre of the town. The owner... was friendly enough, though he always seemed in a hurry and it sometimes felt like we were inconveniencing him by making requests. The room was very pretty but incredibly dark - a single small window that opened out onto a neighbour's (outdoor) laundry area, so we had a lot of tumble drying to put up with. The air conditioning never managed to get the room below 25 degrees at night. The fridge in the room didn't work when we arrived, I let the owner know and he removed it immediately, promising we'd have a new one the next day. That didn't turn up during the entire week we stayed. But our biggest gripe was that the double bed actually turned out to be two singles, made up individually and pushed together. Not great for a romantic break. On review I think that Breakfast was fairly average - not bad but didn't blow us away. The pool area was lovely and quiet, except for one day when there was a private party in the garden and I was rather unceremoniously shunted to the dark end of the garden, and felt like I was invading their privacy. Overall opinion is that it is probably the best hotel in Pollenca, and we were probably unlucky in many respects, but we wouldn't visit again. oleh tamu Hotels.com pada 10/09/2012
