The service really stood out. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The hotel grounds and the hotel itself were very well kept, as you should expect. The rooms are pretty spacious and clean. There were a couple of minor appliances that did not work, but I am positive they would have resolved the issue had I inquired about it. "Nice hotel"
This is a beautiful hotel, no doubt. It however was not my favorite place to stay and I do not think I would pay to stay there again. It is not easy to get to Disney. They do offer shuttle service, but we asked about going to Downtown Disney and they said they only have service there 3 times a day. We did not ask how often the bus ran to the other Disney […] locations. We ended up having to pay a taxi round trips everywhere. This got expensive. I also was not aware that I had to pay a $25 resort fee daily. Ouch! I got over the money issue quickly because this is the Waldorf and I knew it would be expensive. The real reason I was not crazy was that the hotel did not feel young and hip. The hotel music is basically elevator music and the entertainment was piano music.....nice but not fun. We walked over to the Hilton, an easy walk though the convention area. The pool (lazy river) looked great. The restaurants were really nice and friendly. The music in the hotel lobby was young and fun. If it had to do this again, I would have booked the room and stayed at the Hilton. "beware of extra costs"
Lovely hotel, however you HAVE to use the valet parking, which is $25 a day then there is an additional $25 a day hotel surcharge. "Did not treat us well"
The reception and valet were great. You are better off saving money and staying at the Hilton. The Hilton pool staff was much better than the Waldorf. Also, our beds were not made by 5pm on 3 of the 7 nights we stayed. When asked about it, I felt as if the staff were the guests and I was the staff...as if it were an honor for them to actually clean […] our rooms on time. The best was when I was told that they were really busy because of the holiday. When a hotel is able to charge twice as much for a holiday and make four times the profit, they should be able to service its guests not make excuses. If you are going to Disney, do not stay here, it is not worth it...the cost is high, it's inconvenient as it takes time to the parks, and teenagers who think they are better than you pool staff was a joke. My wife and I had a great experience at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando. We were there right after the winter break rush, so that might have been why we were able to get a nice upgrade to a suite on a low floor. The room was fantastic, and the lobby/ entrance area was spectacular as well. Extremely spacious. Our stay was fabulous! Can't say enough about the staff and the hotel. We had our two sons aged 1 & 4 with us for our trip to Disney World and the staff were so accommodating. The room was really big which helps with two little ones who like to run about. We will stay at Waldorf Astoria Hotels in future!Ulasan otentik tamu Hotels.com

"Exceptionally Amazing!"
we chose a short travel for our delayed honeymoon and the last 2 nights we stayed here. I travel often but found this place to be extroadinary. They really went out of their way to ensure we had a phenomenal stay. As soon as we arrived we were impressed with the staff at valet and it only got better! The room was upgraded without any request and they […] delivered treats for us to celebrate our honeymoon. The hotel may appear to look "faded" on the exterior but once you open the doors it is exquisite. Our room was a deluxe suite with plush furniture and all kinds of amenities. The staff was abundantly accomodating and it really made us enjoy our stay. The pool was well maintained and great music to lay out to. We didn't get a chance to golf but the course looked amazing. It isnt an oversized resort with multiple pool areas, but overall this place is immaculate as far incorporating all the right details. It is pricey but well worth the splurge. "Superb Vacation"
Had a wonderful time. Booked a Disney Stay at the Waldorf because of the hotel, spa, and restaruants. was an adult trip so did not need to be staying right at the park. The hotel is beautiful. Open lobby bar playing piano music, the concierge staff and bell men were amazingly helpful... booking shows, getting tickets for theme parks... The bell men […] went above and beyond as well. Rooms were great... had to unplug the fridge in the room was making a load noise but quickly figured out what it was. I'd definitely stay there again. Pool was great, spa treatements were very good as well. Steam room did not work on 2 occasions of the 4 day trip... spa staff said it just happens a lot. we did book this trip partly for the spa services so I hope to hear this is resolved. "Great Hotel."
Amazing hotel, amazing service. There was a bit of a mixup upon check-in and they went above and beyond. I've stayed at some nice hotels, and this is one of the nicest. My only complaint is that we only stayed one night.Ulasan otentik tamu Expedia

"Great food"
This hotel is beautiful. My husband and I were there for 5 day getaway. The food was great. Our dinner at the Bull and Bear was amazing with fabulous and friendly service. The hotel is obviously expensive but I expected that. The only thing we had wished for was more things to do at the hotel. There are no shops other than small gift shop. Thankfully […] you have access toDisney from the free shuttle or we would have been bored to stay on the property. We got a car service a few times but it is very expensive. "Love this hotel !! except for the parking valet"
Love this hotel, everything is perfect with the exception of the valet parking, this is the only thing I did not like, the valet parking, it took those guys 20-30 minutes to get my rental car, I will prefer to be able to park my car and get it when I need to.Ulasan otentik tamu Expedia

"Long waiting times to get service"
The main reason for rating as disappointing was the waiting times for service in the hotel. It was the peak Christmas / New Year week and they clearly could not cope. Regular 45 min waiting times to be seated for breakfast and to just get a sandwich from the bar in the evenings. Would expect much better from a 5 star hotel. We did raise with management […] and they did refund some of our bill but the whole purpose of going to a 5 star hotel is to get great service not a refund - so very disappointing. For that reason wouldn't recommend. It may well be an issue unique to the time of year and the hotel itself was in very good condition and service good when finally received!
