"Great service, beautiful hotel!"
Spent 3 nights at this hotel last weekend. This was our second stay at the hotel and it was fantastic. My only real complaint is the cost of the internet (28CHF/day) but this is normal for Switzerland - I just wish when one pays for a "deluxe/upgraded" room the internet was included. My flight arrived at 8:30 am and I arrived at the hotel around 10am. […] I was able to check in immediately which was really appreciated after a 10 hour flight from Calgary. The room was great, very comfortable and very large by European standards. We absolutely LOVED having a kitchenette - saved lots of money buying ready-made dishes at the local Co-op and heating them up in the microwave. I never did figure out how to use the Nespresso machine but we're not big coffee drinkers so I didn't bother asking. We loved having a separate seating area and work desk. It was nice to be able to sit down somewhere other than the bed! Our room rate included a full American-style buffet breakfast which we both thoroughly enjoyed. There were many hot and cold options available and it was nice to have servers bringing coffee and tea. There is a nice patio outdoors where you can enjoy your breakfast if it is sunny (we also enjoyed having an afternoon beverage outdoors on the couches). Parking was expensive (29CHF/day again not unusual for Switzerland) but there was free outdoor parking right next to the hotel. Our room overlooked said parking and we were able to check on our vehicle regularly though there was really no need - Switzerland is safe and secure. Our room rate also included our entrance to the Aquabasilea complext that is attached to the hotel, although we had to argue with the front desk staff about this inclusion. I ended up having to email a copy of the Hotels.com reservation that proved this to the hotel, but they were very accommodating after that. Das Hotel verspricht vieles und haltet alles ein,so dass mein geschäftlicher Aufenthalt sehr entspannend war. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das einzige was mir nicht optimal erschien,was das Frühstücksbuffet. Die Auswahl ist zu minimal.

Hotel ligt vlakbij de snelweg en tankstation. Er ligt een welness center en shoppingmall naast. Mooie overdekte parkeergarage (wel duur) voor 29 Zw.frank voor 1 overnachting. Kamers waren ruim en comfortabel echter wel snik heet. Met de airco moeten slapen in janauri. Prima overnachtingshotel. Ook koffie en theefaciliteiten op de kamer.

Personnel très professionnel dont certains membres parlent le français. Nourriture relativement chère mais bonne. La piscine est à côté de l'hôtel.

La chambre est parfaite. Propre, spacieuse et bien agencé. Le personnel est serviable et discret. Le petit déjeuner est bon. La piscine est juste délirante. Vraiment, c'est un hôtel que je recommande.

Hôtel de très bonne qualité à côté de l'entrée de bains (Aqua Basilea), idéal pour les familles. Excellent pt déjeuner. Tarifs attractifs (parking un peu cher, meilleur marché de payer à la caisse).

Super Hôtel ! sauf peut-être le restaurant pour un 4* les frites ne sont pas faites mains et la carte n'est pas top... sinon les chambres, les piscines super : A refaire!

Très bel hôtel. Toutefois, nous regrettons que la langue française ne soit pas parlée dans cet hôtel. Le personnel ne parlait que l'allemand et l'anglais. La documentation n'était également que dans ces 2 langues. D'avance merci de prendre note de nos commentaires. Meilleures salutations.

The hotel is located far away from downtown Basle in an industrial area, but close to the freeway, so it is recommended to arrive by car. There is also a train station 15 minutes away on foot. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, typical of Marriott. The breakfast is a delight, and in the summer months one can enjoy it on the dining terrace outside.
