Myself and my friend brought our two children (both aged 6) for a holiday in Armacao De Pero, we stay in the 2nd week in May so it wasn't the peak time.... The hotel is 50 minutes away from Faro airport and you can get taxis or transfers to and back which the staff can organise for you. This by far is one of my favorite places to have stayed. For the price we paid for the stay we weren't expecting much but we were delighted to see that the hotel was more than we expected. The hotel itself was in a nice location, 5 minute walk to the most beautiful beach I've ever been on and a 10 minute walk to the local supermarket, there is a lovely restaurant 5 mins from the hotel, it's on the beach front, great service and beautiful food well worth the try. On the grounds of the hotel there is two swimming pools, a small one for the kids and a big one for the adults, there is also a playground across from the pool so the kids were well occupied! There is also a cafe on the grounds. We were delighted with our apartment, it was bright airy and spacious but most importantly spotless! We had a lovely view of the pool as well.
