Staff were excellent, hotel was beautiful.

I had an excellent massage and we liked the novelty of canoeing down to the beach. The front of house staff were excellent however the restaurant was less so.

Very attentive staff. Wonderful rooftop infinity pool with a bar and perfect view of the railway, level crossing and station which delighted my train spotting husband. We enjoyed the musical duo playing on Saturday and Sunday evening in the restaurant.

We took a 2 day houseboat from Alleppey booked through the resort (beware of cheaper houseboats that will disappoint you) and had the experience of a lifetime.It was simply amazing to be able to experience and share the daily lives of the people who live by the backwaters. A descent stay of 24 hours with cordial crew members and the local delicacies made our day in marvel cruise. There are lot of local boats to catch up but Mravel cruise stands apart in the claealiness and service.

Very poor quality

We stayed for 13 nights in a detached villa which was next to the beach. From the time we arrived to our depature the service at Abad Turtle beach was 6*. The grounds are beautiful & it very peaceful the only sound coming from the birds & the sea! The butterfly garden is lovely & there is an abundance of wildlife such as Indian palm squirrels, various birds & fruit bats which you will see from 5pm. There are pros and cons with this place. Pros: Pretty location, right on the water. Very good breakfast selection. Spacious room and bathroom. Private terrace area. Meals available throughout the day. Charming and helpful restaurant staff. Cons: They took our luggage to the wrong room, but no one knew which room for about an hour. The two ‘reception’ women were pretty, but pretty useless (very limited English). None of the staff appeared to communicate with each other. Thin walls...
