"Beautiful little hotel next to the walls of carcassone castle. Great spot with pool and rooms with decks ( worth it). Only complaint is rooms are tight for two pieces of luggage and not a huge fan of only hand held showers( although my wife loved the bath and shower..is romantic..note this has a 2 star Michelin restaurant attached but only open Tuesday to Saturday."

"Ideally situated hotel, a 7 minute flat walk to the Cité along a quiet road. Hotel is quirkily decorated to reflect Carcassonne's history and is very comfortable and quiet. They serve food in the evenings, although the night we decided to eat there the restaurant was closed due to a private booking and we had to get taxis to/from the city centre.... "THE BEST location to see the old medieval city. The hotel is literally at the foot of the old walls and main gate is just a five minute walk up the hill. Can’t get any closer. And the view of the Cite from the breakfast terrace is great."

"The hotel is very traditional in style with the most charming staff (? owners.) As a solo woman traveller I appreciated that the area felt safe, although the main road is a little noisy. It’s easy to walk from the train station along the canal & everything I wanted to see was also walkable. "

"Close to town centre, station, canal du midi. Solidly built building and large room. Bed comfy. Initial difficulty in that i recieved no coms from landlord. No answer to phonecalls. Reply to my message was that they had no booking for me and that i was mistaken. Later they sent entry codes after i told them i had receipt and would meet at set time in local bar. Once in I was pleasantly suprised by room and bathroom. "

"Spent one evening at Résidence Carmina with our German Shepherd. The apartment was well appointed, spacious and very clean. The bed was large and very comfortable. Quality linens. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We appreciated the secure parking, inner courtyard and just a short walk to the medieval city of Carcasonne."

"In a great place to go visit the medieval castle. Room was comfortable & breakfast was lovely. There’s a pool there too but bit too cold for me, I’m a whimp, but husband had a swim. Would stay there again."
