"The Cabinas is close to the beach with shower at entrance so you can wash feet or body before getting to your room. The staff are kind, even if difficult to communicate at times as some don't speak English, but they do their best. The hammocks are a pleasure in the afternoon. There is a common area with tables that you can have your meals which is very useful. The room was clean, beds very comfortable, it was fee hot days when we were there and ceiling fan and separate fans were helpful. The...

"It is off the main street (only one street in Tortuguero) so very quiet. On the beach. Beautiful property and pool. Breakfast was good considering they had lost power. Walkable everywhere."

"A lovely view and the host is wonderful. The view over the lagoon and the relaxing patio as seen in the picture is the benefit of staying here. Not the fanciest place in the world, but very comfortable. Highly recommend for value-driven travel or families. The host will bend over backwards to provide information on tours and transportation, very helpful. I wish the water in the shower was warmer, but one can take a Costa Rican warm shower :-) "
