Overall we enjoyed our Stay very much. The Staff were Friendly and Efficient, the Breakfasts and Dinners Fabulous plus the free on Site Parking very Convenient . On the down side we were in Room 7 which is a Ground Floor Non-Courtyard Room. It only has one Small Window making it very Gloomy inside and the Water was never Hot only Luke Warm after running for even a few minutes.

Stay at sportsmans Porthmadog

Room was clean, bed was really comfortable, slept really well,a little warm as radiators were on but a fan is provided, staff were really friendly, breakfast is excellent but the time slot of 07:30-09:30 is a little early, parking is really good with a roof above which stops any seagull mess👍…. Overall an excellent place to stay

Was stuck in traffic and called reception to ask about check in-Sharon was an absolute delight, explained me alternative check in process and gave all info through the phone, honestly I could not thank her enough how helpful she was. Lovely girl in the reception the next day talked us through the breakfast and check out procedure. Room was very tidy, great size and extremely clean. There was tv for little entertainment that done the job for my little one. Dining/breakfast area was very modest, breakfast menu had a nice variety and we had some nice toast, coffee and juice whilst waiting. Everything was smooth - they have parking at the back but ai just parked in front as theres two spaces and I knew I will be out by the time restrictions apply (parking from 8 am for one hour without return only). Would definitely come back again!

So many good points to mention. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Helpful when asked questions. Couldn't fault my dining experience. Food was delicious and staff were professional and happy. The Restaurant and bar have been modernised which look great. You don't actually realise you are in the same hotel. That's my personal opinion. My single room was small but perfectly clean and well presented Location was great. Walking distance to everything you need. Parking is available, as arrived early enough to get a space I was lucky but I can imagine others may struggle because the number of spaces is very small and they like to reserve them for blue badge holders. Despite being offered basic housekeeping, this didn't occur. Which meant I only had one teabag for my 3 night stay. Yes I probably could have asked but I was out all day hiking and didn't notice until returning. The floor boards in my room were extremely squeaky which isn't great when getting ready early in the morning. Others would have been disturbed.

Sportsman hotel really clean. Comfortable rooms,food excellent quality and extensive variety.Extra cost for our small jack russel,£20 per day too high. Overall hotel was excellent quality and service.
