I think the value for money was excellent. The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. The only complaint with the room was the lighting being too dark, albeit a very modern lighting setup. However, I have to state as someone allergic to Gluten, the hotel and restaurant have absolutely ZERO ability to deal with this and therefore neither dinner nor breakfast was an option.

This hotel is well located for a quieter spot in Sheffield and is a nice hotel inside, with good amenities (the gym and pool are excellent), but the lack of Air Conditioning really detracted from the stay given the heat. I'd expect such a highly rated hotel to have this and I hope next time it does for a perfect stay. Parking costing extra is something that could be improved.

Nice clean, modern hotel in great location. However, breakfast service was terrible. Not enough trained staff, constantly running out of food and drinks. Slowest coffee machine and toaster possible and only 1 of each. So creating chaos and queues. A real shame as rest of hotel was great.

Overall quality of the hotel was excellent. Room was very clean and comfortable. Big room with great bathroom, comfortable bed, fridge, safe and lovely view over the canal. Leisure facilities great. Gym was brilliant. Pool relatively small but adequate. Changing rooms could do with a little TLC. Reception area is currently being refurbished so untidy but should be super on completion. Nice bar area, although staff didn’t seem able to control the volume of the TV screen… possibly good the England game was turned down. Overall… super stay
