Nick the concierge and Fiona in the Gild bar were amazing and really helpful. We ate in the Gild bar on our second night and the food was very good. The rooms are looking a little run down but the aircon was working well and it was quiet. The swimming pool area was looking tired and the floor around the pool was exceptionally wet and slippery. Overall, good location for the NEC which was the reason for our stay.

Check in took nearly 45 minutes as there was an Elvis convention, which wasn't advertised on the website when we were booking. So there were alot of people trying to check in at the same time After check in was complete, the never of staff showed us where all the facilities were and booked us into the spa and swimming pool, which was a great enjoyment for the kids Evening meal was great.
