The room was clean! Checking in was a complete ZOO! 1 hour & 15 minutes in line???? The lobby looked like a third world airport with kids, adults layed out on the floor,kicking soccer balls. It was awful. No concierge. The staff told me they are very short staffed…. Why? I’ll never come back!

Check in was not the easiest, long lines. There is staff patrolling the lines answering questions, and are amazing in added help. They advertise a lazy river, I didn’t read anywhere that you needed to supply your own tube. They sell them on site. Bring lots of money, food and beverages are a lot of money for a family.

The pools were very fun and clean - heads up, the wave pool is very…. Not intense but the lazy river has a great current. Self parking is a bit difficult because there isn’t very clear signage. Had an amazing stay!! I went they specifically this time for the pool, lazy river, and wave pool! They do have an air pump to pump up your own tubes, they do not supply tubes, buying there can be expensive so bring your own! Not bigger than 48 inches . Swingers golf was lots of fun! Indoor miniature golf awesome !! Food at hotel amazing so many choices!

Check in was really slow. Their self check out stations did not work. The room was clean and nice, cool view of the strip. The beach/Bay Area was so crowded and kind of dirty. There was a $50 resort fee that was not clear at the end of check out. We paid for the room when we checked in, but the resort fee was added at the end. Disappointed that it wasn’t disclosed.

We had a great stay overall at Mandalay Bay. I really appreciated that it's a little removed from the chaos of the Strip while still being convenient thanks to the tram. The resort was clean, and our room was comfortable with plenty of towels for our entire stay without needing to request more. The biggest downside was the pool experience. It was disappointing to have to pay extra for chair rentals and even to rent an inner tube for the lazy river. Our shower also had some mildew that could use attention. Aside from those issues, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back.

Booked reservation for Mandalay Bay but room was actually The W hotel in a tower opposite Mandalay lobby and pool area and Mandalay elevators. Digital check in doesn’t say this and you spend an hour making keys and not knowing why your keys don’t work in Mandalay. Hot tubs are always full of kids at 8:00am don’t plan relaxing there. Good luck finding parking redemption for locals. Room was nice and clean and nice food options. Check in not active until right at 3pm.

Our very first time in Las Vegas we stayed their for 4 days 3 nights in your hotel.stay in the line for more than 30 minutes waiting to check in only 3 window open our kids stay at the mandalay tower facing the pool which is very nice the kids love it and we stayed at the W we did t really enjoyed it strip view but you can really see it since we are in 8th floor level and you’ll see the roof.and those days we stayed out room key never work in the parking lot so we had to call everytime we go out the parking lot we went to front desk and tell them about it and apparently it should be ok now but no it’s a hassle and embarrassing we hold lots of car behind us because our key rooms never work so we had to call and takes minute before they answer and open it for us.we enjoyed stay in Vegas despite of the weather being so hot we enjoyed it especially the kids but I know mandalay could do more better pricing other wise especially the market 4 small bag of chips 4 Pepsi bottles and 2 m&m for $95.not everybody can afford or want to don’t that much eacorcially those people was in the budget.but thank you for the good time

I have never been to Vegas and been faced with more barriers to having a good time than I did at Mandalay Bay. Maybe it’s just Mandalay Bay, but this was an odd Vegas experience. I hope this is not what the entire city has become. We tried to use the self check in option, several advertisements on the property suggested it as a quick way to skip the line. After about 3 minutes I was finished and received a text message that I would be notified by text with info about getting my key. 30 minutes later, no text and no key, I was late for my dinner reservation and in the check in line. Staff were not interested in addressing my concerns, but they got me a room. No time to clean up before dinner. After dinner, I went to play table games. Over an hour in, I still could not get a cocktail. The next morning the aquarium opened 10 minutes later than our scheduled 10am ticket. Not a big deal but it fit with my impression about Mandalay Bay: your time and experience do not concern us. The room was good, clean and has a good view. I think I will have to try a different property next time, and hope that this is only an MGM thing, not a Vegas thing.

To clarify, my stay was actually at The W Hotel which is a new extension of the Mandalay Bay. I booked a double-bed room and ended up getting a suite: living room, 1/2 bath at the entryway, bedroom with double beds, and full size bathroom. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and was maintained by staff every day we were there. Considering our trip was in August, we made pool reservations prior to our trip: shaded chaise lounge chairs for two. I highly recommend you do this as prices were much higher once we arrived, if there were any available. Staff at the hotel and pool were excellent. There were plenty of food options at the hotel. I highly recommend The Seabreeze Cafe, Slice of Vegas Pizza, and the House of Blues. There’s not too many shops at the hotel but you can always venture out,

We completed the self-check-in on our phones, but the system didn’t connect properly, so we had to wait in the long line all over again. We ended up waiting for an hour and a half just to check in. Other than the check-in system, everything else was great.
