This hotel is in an excellent location. You are about 10 mins walk to old town, less than 5 mins to shopping and restaurants, and walkable to the beach. Hotel is clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommended.

Hotel Acandia was perfect for my husband and myself. The hotel is modern and spacious, the room was lovely, with a large comfortable bed and pillows, a fridge, kettle and TV with the BBC news channel. The surroundings are quiet mostly, in a tree lined street and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. It is in the north of the new town, perfect for walking to the Old Town or the bus station.There is a pool, if you want to swim, although we did not use it.The breakfast is excellent, everything that you would want: good coffee, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, cooked breakfast, cheese, cakes, etc.We had no complaimts.

We had a fantastic stay at Acandia Hotel during our honeymoon. We are very thankful for the entire staff who we found to be very efficient and friendly. Sabrina the manager has a fantastic handle on all aspects of the hotel and understands how a well run hotel operates. The hotel rooms were very modern and setup creatively. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the room each day. We are also thankful that we were able to check in early as we spent a significant amount of time traveling on very little sleep. The location of the hotel was perfect. Finally, the breakfast buffet was the best complimentary one we have even experienced. The options were plentiful and everything was cooked perfectly. Easily the best breakfast buffet at a hotel we have experience throughout our travels. Breakfast was an experience we did not want to miss and was always an exciting start to the day!

Nice Place but Newly Renovated Rooms Need Work!

Front desk lady, Mika, was GREAT! Our newly renovated room however, needs work. The door needs a key, the buttons to alert cleaning crew not to clean, doesn't work, so they cleaned anyway and left our door unlocked since the doors need an actual key! Luckily nothing was stolen! The shower needs to be modified as it doesn't drain properly and all the water comes out onto the bathroom floor. we had to use multiple towels. It was not designed well at all. We informed the Team members. The construction guy hadn't wiped down their measurements etc. from the cupboards area and cleaning crew didn't see it either. The tiles weren't wiped down in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet was good. The elevator and hallway needs AC. Rooms were nice and modern.

Wir waren über Weihnachten und Silvester da. In diesem Teil der Stadt hatten zahlreiche Restaurants und Geschäfte offen, während die Altstadt komplett geschlossen hatte. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Hafens und kann mit dem Flughafenbus erreicht werden. Unser Zimmer war geräumig mit einem bequemen Bett. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Spa hatte sogar an Heiligabend für uns auf. Personal insgesamt sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
