Parking is £7 for overnight guests staff was friendly room was nice but dated and spacious windows needed cleaning not very clear to see sea view room the cleaning in the room was missed behind headboard floor cereal crumbs were present cleaning team need to be more protective. The room was such good value for money. The staff were so amazing, friendly and helpful! I was staying with my young child and we had a couple of issues with noisy neighbours etc but the staff were so kind and patient and swapped rooms for us. The pool was lovely! Very nice and relaxing, again the staff there were so kind and friendly. The rooms were huge and very clean. Lots of plug sockets and a big fan which was very useful. 10/10

The room was standard for a 3*, family room two twin beds, sofa bed and a pull out bed, adequate for one night for children. Cleanliness was ok. The pool requires booking and is chargeable, £2 per adult and £1 child, which is disappointing as should be free if staying at the hotel. Breakfast was good £10 adults and £5 children. Around a mile from the pier, walk or catch the tram. Co op right next door and for eating Gynn pub and restaurant is 5 mins walk.

Extra for parking. Partial sea view room, obscured by a window that needed a good clean. Creaky mattress which could do with replacing. Room itself good. The name Grand does not really match the actual hotel, bit dated, however our room was amazing and huge with a sea view so can’t complain! One of the drawers in the bedroom did have someone’s clothes left there and everywhere needed a good dust though … Reception and bar staff didn’t seem to like their jobs very much. Breakfast was nice however lack of tables meant it was tricky to find seats. For the price we paid it was fine, but probably won’t go back here in a hurry
