Old hotel, rooms not the revamped. Far away from downtown and all the attractions, if you will stay here, you need to have either a car or to pay taxis. Good location is you want to reach the cruise ships terminal.

This hotel is great for divers . There is a dive shop on site and more next door. The restaurant opens one hour before dive boat goes. You also can walk around to some shops if you want or other restaurants. You can rent a car at the front desk if you want. Less than 5 minutes to one of the national parks by car. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Mar. The staff was helpful and kind. Miguel assisted us with booking some wonderful excersions. When our flight was delayed for 3 days due to a blizzard at home, he was able to extend our stay, which was a huge relief. Javier and Alejandro were fabulous servers and we always felt welcome by all staff at the restaurant. The rooms were clean as well as the grounds very well kept.We also enjoyed the access to Nochi Cocum beach. I would definitely book there again.
