The hotel is located just outside one of the city gates to Siena's historic center. It takes about 25-30 minutes to walk to the Duomo. Our room was a nice size, but the shower was a relic from the 70s, and the room could definitely use a renovation. The hotel says that the rooms are soundproof. Ours was not at all, and there was a lot of noise, especially from the street but also from the hallway. We stayed in room 105. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and welcoming and the staff at the reception were very nice.
