The motel was outdated, everything needs to be remodeled. Paint peeling everywhere, the bathrooms were a nightmare. The only plus, the staff , friendly did everything they could to make stay enjoyable

I couldn't get any real resolution to a problem with the Internet service. My room didn't have a phone in it. And every time I called the front desk they said someone was coming, but no one never showed up. The room was descent and accessibility was good, but customer service wasn't good at all. I know it was a busy weekend, but still every customers problem should be addressed with a warm attitude. Probably won't stay here in the future.

Horrible rooms
The first room that we got the TV was old and when we turn it on...it was burning the tv..electric smell so we told them and they switch us up stairs but the room smell like Marijuana aka weed...we open the window to let the smell out and the roof of the room it look like it was coming off and molded. .the beds were uncomfortable to sleep in and the other room that we rented for my parents it feel like it had flees...itching when we enter the room....we will not coming back ever to driftwood...the price was okay but the room were horrible

You get what you pay for.
This hotel is very old and not fancy by any means. It was clean for the most part but there were fingerprints on the windows and the beds and pillows were very old and extremely uncomfortable. The hotel staff was very unfriendly and not personable. This was a last minute booking and it was the cheapest I could find but you definitely get what you pay for. Also the hotel provides a coffee maker but no coffee so you have to buy that yourself.. They also charge a $10 amenities fee but provide none other than the normal hotel shampoo/bar soap that no one ever uses. However if you book here and get a room on the right hand side of the building you'll be right across from some great live music.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever
THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL IVE EVER STAYED IN!!! There was a roach in the bathroom of our initial room, switched rooms and there was a roach in there also, the floors had stains in them, the sheets had stains in them, the room was smoky and was not equipped; it was just terrible. I'm an active duty armed forces member and I've been in foreign countries that were more comfortable than this. My family and I were out of there the next morning after I demanded to hotels.com that my money be refunded. Neither of us felt safe being stuck sleeping there for a night. Don't waste your money coming here.

Great location
Not a bad hotel for the price. I was displeased because one of the ladies from housekeeping told me that check out was 6 am. I confirmed with with the front desk and he said that wasn't true. She was trying to get me to check out early for her convenience. Not good business at all.

You get what you pay for!
I have left a review on trip advisor regarding this hotel along with emailing the hotel itself and still haven't received any feedback so my opinion on this place keeps getting worse! I checked in late, it took my husband 30 minutes to find somewhere to park. Arrived at room and it was just dated! we took the comforters off the bed because they looked dirty. We actually used one of the comforters to cover up the 2 inch gap from the bottom of the door to the floor. there was old food behind and underneath nightstand. There was a piece of wood in balcony door but you could still slide it right open, there was black mold in all of the doorways. There were roaches in the microwave and the pillows smelled of pure mildew.

Do not stay here!
Horrible customer services, my bed had a nest of bedbugs that woke me up in the middle of the night, they were not apologetic and a lady at the front desk named Barbara was mean and rude.

Don't let the pictures fool ya!
I was so tired from work and the drive there I didn't say nothing. I had the clean the bathroom before I went in it with clorox and Lysol. The smell was terrible from urine left in the toilet from god knows when . There was tissue left on the floor from previous guest. Most of all the hotel was out dated and is need of some serious renovations! I want be back!

STAY AWAY! HORRIBLE HOTEL!!!
This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel! Rundown, disgusting, gross, outdated, and the rudest staff! I requested towels and was told there were no clean ones ready. It took them 3 hours to bring clean towels. I had to literally duck down under the shower head because of the position it was in. The room smelled so bad! The carpet was so dirty I did not once take my shoes off and walk around on it. The tv was an old box tv from like the 90's. Hands down the WORST hotel EVER!!!!!

Very noisy
Desperate need of updating. It was clean. Bed linens did not fit king bed. VERY noisy. Faced the road, no sound insulation from traffic. Heard every sound in hallway. If you're looking for quiet, this is not the place. They charge a $5 amenity fee when you check in. I'm still not sure what those amenities were. Seems like just a way to collect a non taxed fee. It is on the beach, maybe that was the amenity.
