The Kempinski in soma bay is a beautiful hotel located in a quiet bay with a clean massive sandy beach, azure waters and mountains in the horizon. The service is truly 5 star - everyone was like how do I make the stay special especially staff at the beach and manager at sultan bar (tharos). Loved the stay and will highly recommend.

Special shout out to Amr and Diaa from the beach /beach bar team for going above and beyond to look after us. It is possible to do some snorkeling directly from the beach. The water is crystal clear. The buffet doesn’t leave anything to be desired! If you consider staying in Soma Bay dont bother looking at other hotels- this is by far the best option! True value for money! We booked a trip from the hotel (thanks pascal from guest relations for the tip!) to luxor which was verry nice and perfect. Thanks Rafik & Gamal for the service every morning and night and the whole team. The whole team is happy to help, ask about your day and seem to care a lot. Hopefully we come back soon!

Please give the kids a lot more toys especially near the restaurant (that room is empty!!) and put the kids disco half an hour later or the dinner half an hour earlier (early access for families?) as 7 pm is super late. :)

It took around 40mins to check in which was far too long. I was allocated the room I had booked and was only given the room upgrade when I pointed out this was part of the VIP Expedia access. The hotel and facilities were great especially the pool and beach area and the staff were very helpful and nice
