We really enjoyed our stay at Carnmore Hotel Takapuna, it was very clean and made a great base for exploring the Auckland area as it was so close to the beach and local shops and only a 5 min drive to the Devonport Ferry terminal where you can take a fun short ferry trip to downtown Auckland. The only issue was that the internet dropped in and out quite a bit, otherwise it was flawless!

This was a good find for us on Hotels.com. We needed a stopover on our way from Bay of Islands to Bay of Plenty and this was perfect. Close to SH1. Very clean well appointed spacious room.
