It’s very good value. It’s very outdated. It’s a stop at a service station with clean beds and running water. Super helpful staff. It’s really not bad

10/10 Exceptional

Clean room with plenty of hot water in the shower and a comfortable bed. But the outstanding feature was the staff not just helpful but friendly and as someone travelling, on this occasion, on my own they were invaluable. Yes, the property did look a little bit rundown and like it could’ve done with a lick of paint in places but that did nothing to detract from my stay. For r a budget friendly break in a long journey I could not ask for anything else.

4**** Overall an excellent stay, clean & tidy, with helpful staff throughout all areas. Easy to find from the M6, the staff were lovely, very helpful - especially when they saw that we were oap's, and I am a wheelchair user - nothing was too too much for them. The room was very clean and smelled it, with a light, fresh, fragrance that lasted throughout the night until we checked out the following morning. However, the fragrance wasn't cloying nor was it overwhelming. The service onsite were very good. Friendly staff, good range of food outlets to suit most choices, and tables were clean and cleared immediately after they were vacated. Parking was excellent, lots of spaces, a number of accessible disabled bays with adequate room to get my wheelchair out, and for my 81 year old husband to swing his legs round to comfortably get his legs out of the car, The outside did look a little tired and in need of some tlc in some areas, hence the one star off of my review.

6/10 Good

Room was very clean, comfortable temperature and a very friendly welcome from reception. It’s a dated ‘motel’ (motorway hotel) but perfectly adequate. Room had a fusty smell due to age of building I expect, or the very old carpet - window opens to air it off

2/10 Poor

We tried to cancel the booking, staff were very friendly, phone call to cancel was useless did not stay and left for another hotel, the hotel staff were as annoyed as we were, and apologised with the booking website, the website made it as difficult to give refund
