It was laughable. Metal sheathing that made a huge loud noise everytime you moved. The cheapest of towels etc... The shower faucet links and makes a metallic noise every time the drop hits spigot. And there is a one dollar amentities fee. This has to go into a book.

You get what you pay for. Needs met. Budget stay.
The beds were comfortable and the price was very reasonable. The staff was very friendly and responsive to needs like additional towels. Water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. Overall the room satisfied the need with no major issues and we were pleased. Definitely a “you get what you pay for room”, not recommended for people who must have the best of the best, this is more for people who are cheap or broke with tolerance of things like the room not being as clean as it could be, or cosmetically appealing. Also because of the location you need to be comfortable being around common folk or people with substance abuse issues. It would appear they have trouble finding good help, I think they allow their workers to stay in certain rooms. The whole area surrounding the hotel was somewhat of a “Ghetto” so I felt at home…lol. Like I said though, not for “classy” people.

Will Not Be Staying Again
I booked a room for one night while traveling for business. The young lady at the front desk was very polite. I just changed my drivers license from NJ to SC and was told I would be charged an additional $90 for being a SC resident. The room was clean overall however the bed squeaked LOUDLY and shower had rust around the drain. The next morning when attempting to shower, I noticed there were no towels or face cloths in my room. I asked for towels at the front desk and was told there were no towels available. As a result I used my t-shirt to dry my face after washing it. Despite booking my stay on Hotels.com I was charged $55 on my credit card which I was told would be refunded (at the time of making this review the charge remains on my credit card). Overall I did not enjoy my stay and will never book again. The women at the front desk were nice but that is the only good takeaway I have

No Extra Pillows and Loud a/c & heat
I had requested a first floor room and when I arrived they were not that pleasant about changing the second floor to the first floor ( I have a right bad foot) and I also had asked for extra pillows and they said out flat “NO” “we don’t have extra pillows”. Plus the a/c heat system was very loud

Regretful booking
Check in delay even after was asked to come back 45 minutes after check in time. Trash piled by stairs, did not look swept or mopped, toilet had brown ring, sink faucet had big spots on it( was it cleaned?), pool green and gate was pad locked so could not even sit in that area, loud and when asked if could move to a back room in check in indicated could not accommodate request )but didn’t see other cars around). I checked out the next morning Oct 11 before checkout time and person at desk wrote my request for refund to get to manager. NO refund processed for 2 nights yet!

Evacuation from Hurricane Milton. Basic hotel accommodation. Clean, recently painted. Good bathroom facilities. Clean towels and bed linens clean carpeting. Microwave and refrigerator clean and operational. Fair price for amenities. Buffet breakfast needed some improvement In all areas.

I booked a room last night September 27, 2024 for one night. When I arrived at the location it was closed. not a soul there, with a sign on the door that said closed due to power outage. That was a complete disappointment. I would really appreciate being refunded.

You standard highway motel
Nothing fancy about this place. Inexpensive and what you would expect for a motel just off the Interstate. If road noise is an issue for you, you may want to look elsewhere as the door to your room is fewer than 500 feet from the Interstate and you can hear all the large trucks driving by.

Although they tried to upgrade some room fixtures, the bathroom door didn’t have a latch of any kind, there was dirt on the floor and yelllow gunk on the bathroom door. No toilet paper roller, my lamp was broken, and the sink didn’t have a drain stopper. While checking in online the app said a suite was available for an additional $10 but when checking in the desk associate said the motel had no suites onsite. Baymont Suites used to be very nice stays when I see them In Michigan.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS SKETCH HOTEL!!
This is by far the worst place I've ever stayed in my life. The room smelled. Dirty handprints on the doors and switches. The AC unit sounded like someone was dumping a cooler full of ice every 3-4 minutes. There were alot of construction workers staying here and many slept in their cars or trucks which creeped me out when my dog needed to go outside so my husband did it every time. There is also no coffee makers. The blow dryer plug was broke, and had to go to the front desk to get a TV remote because there wasnt one. The only positive thing i have to say is that the woman who checked us in was friendly. Id never stay at this place again! I'd sooner sleep in my car.
