"This is a brand new hotel that just opened 2 months ago. It was an amazing hotel, very beautiful, in an excellent location in the Centro Historico part of Mazatlan. The rooms were nicely done and comfortable. The service was outstanding. Everyone who works here is very helpful and nice. Upon arriving at the spot which I believed to be the hotel, the address given was incorrect, as was the photo. Thank God the folks renting some of the apartments heard my calls and helped me out. "Overall, we did enjoy our stay at Boca de Cielo Apartments. The complex is about a mile from the Olas Oltas Beach area, which has many restaurants, shops, and convenience stores. There is nothing else closer so we did a lot of walking. We enjoy walking so that was okay with us but may be a deterrent for others. The view from the unit is great. Our check-in process was poor as the owner was supposed to send an email with directions on how to get into the apartment. The email never showed up...

"The location was fantastic, we enjoyed the walkability of the location. The building does seem to be along a transportation hub at night though, there were vehicles with loud music constantly driving past. To be fair it didn't bother me as I am a sound sleeper but others in our groip noticed. The bed was comfortable and the sheets we clean. The bathroom shower, toilet, and sink were all clean but the place could use a deep cleaning along walls and high touch area as they were grubby. The rooftop was great, my kids used the pool most evenings. It was a clean well maintained, a great spot to watch the sunset and cruise ships go in and out and saw it cleaned daily. It also had a bbq area we saw utilized a few times. Overall we were happy with this property."
