"All staff were welcoming and helpful. We pre booked taxis ( at least 4 days before travel) to and from airport with Vito and info and contact was spot on.
We booked a room with terrace as one of us is a smoker.
The bed was so comfy- we slept peacefully. Ear plugs were provided incase of noise when people were coming and going but it didn’t disturb us.
Aircon/ heater effective.
Shower adequate and spacious, shower gel and hand soaps provided.
Breakfast ( 08.00 - 10.00) on 3rd floor terrace was lovely. Small selection of cereal, jams, cheese, cold meats. A Bread and crackers, fruit , yoghurt. Good choice of coffee from machine also fruit juices and still or sparkling water. Great view. Certi who oversees breakfast is so friendly.
The situation of B&B is great 12 min walk from station. Under 1 hour from Cefalù.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Small fridge in rooms but no milk for coffee and teabags. We bought cafe creamers at Lidl!
No iron available but we checked before travel and took a travel one.
There are lots of stairs and no lift. Palermo pavements and roads can be hard on the feet - comfy shoes only!! Pharmacy 2 mins walk ."
"Excellent hotel close to the city centre with its pedestrianised area and attractions. Traditional and comfortable. Cosy but freshly decorated room. Hospitality tray. Comfortable communal areas. Excellent breakfast. Staff could not do too much for you. Bus from airport stopped about 150m away, so easy to access. Would thoroughly recommend."
"We stayed for 3 nights in the Olive Room.
All was great and perfect.
Room and bathroom were spotless and pleasant, newly and beautifully decorated.
Bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet.
Mariella is a wonderful and generous host and her breakfasts were as great as she is.
Can’t recommend enough her B&B."
"This is a lovely place to stay in Palermo. It is a great location, very close to the food markets and the key sites.
We had such a warm welcome, as we arrived straight off the overnight train from Naples & they offered us coffee & breakfast. Also we were given our room early as it was available.
The family suite with 2 bedrooms is perfect for travelling with children.
Thanks for such a great stay & your hospitality!"
