Booked this hotel as an overnight stopover from a journey from London to Austria. Must say I was extremely impressed. I was not expecting much because of the price range - but fantastic room, very clean and comfortable bed. Choice of options in the breakfast was good and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Surprisingly good!

This was an excellent hotel. Absolutely spotless, massive room and had everything we needed (we had a small kitchen area). Not too close to centre of Frankfurt but it’s a nice walk. We never took public transport at all.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Hessen
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Hessen is during July, August, and December, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those keen to explore the region's significant landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions, a stay of at least 2 days is recommended. This allows visitors to experience great value for money while discovering the area's rich heritage and natural beauty, making it an ideal choice for travellers on a budget.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover hotel deals in Hessen, begin by exploring the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find reduced rates as your travel date approaches. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you could stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don't miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature within the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. With updates on price drops or available rooms, you're more likely to seize the opportunity for a last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could assist you in finding a more favourable rate for your stay in a hotel in Hessen. If you're in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you make your booking through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that might provide you with a more economical option.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities in Hessen undoubtedly offers unparalleled convenience, but it often comes at a premium. Accommodations in these bustling areas are typically more expensive, reflecting their proximity to local attractions and amenities. In contrast, smaller towns and rural regions are more likely to be affordable, providing a cost-effective alternative for travellers. For those seeking better rates, opting for hotels situated outside the city centre may be a viable option, although this may necessitate additional travel to reach key sights. Additionally, exploring nearby cities can reveal a wealth of attractions while presenting more budget-friendly lodging choices.
