Room was spacious and super clean, beds wee comfy and staff were friendly and the breakfast was good enough.
Given that I chose the hotel because it had a gym and good ratings I was really disappointed that all three treadmills were broken in different ways.
The keycards to the hotel room just kept failing too. I had to get them to rescan them multiple times because they were losing magnetism….yet that rarely happens in other hotels.
There is also no bar so nowhere to sit with my colleague...

Hi, a really great hotel. I had called earlier to mention a late arrival. Although they initially charged, they quickly sorted out a refund when I arrived. The hotel room and bathroom were pristine. I had an issue with a padlock on my suitcase - it took a while for maintenance to attend but when they arrived it was sorted quickly. Great location - 6 mins walk to the metro station. I did not sample the breakfast/food but would highly recommend.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Maryland
Book for the cheapest times: Maryland is an affordable destination, particularly on a budget, during January, February and December when hotel prices may drop to lower prices. Exploring the state's rich landmarks, history, culture and natural attractions is a great value for money experience, with a stay of at least 2 days being ideal for an in-depth exploration of its key sites.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com may offer excellent hotel deals in Maryland. You can explore Dealsopens in new window to potentially discover discounted rates, while the Last-Minute Deals section may present opportunities for a spontaneous getaway. By enabling alerts, you're more likely to see flash sales and special promotions. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool on the app helps you compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you could find the best hotel deals available.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Being flexible with your travel dates could assist you in finding a more affordable option for your stay in a Maryland hotel. For those in search of distinctive experiences, boutique hotels may provide a more personalised touch and potentially better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we might suggest alternative dates that could help you find a more attractive offer.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities in Maryland can certainly offer unparalleled convenience, particularly when it comes to accessing local attractions. However, this prime location often comes at a premium, making it a more costly option for travellers. In contrast, smaller towns and rural areas tend to be more affordable, allowing visitors to save on accommodation. For those looking to strike a balance between comfort and budget, opting for hotels just outside the city centre is worth considering, although this may necessitate some additional travel to reach key sights. Alternatively, exploring nearby cities could yield a wealth of experiences while providing more budget-friendly lodging options.
