The house is historic but updated where it counts - modern kitchen with new appliances, big bedrooms with king sized beds, and comfortable bathrooms with custom tiled showers. We stayed with our extended family, infant son and dog and there was plenty of space for everyone. Our only regret was that the weather kept us from exploring more of the (beautiful) property. Brad was a great host, and we’d happily stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Nice place, lots of really nice amenities in the home like a bidet, heated towel racks, and heated mattresses. We were spoiled!

The house was not in great condtion—broken screens on windows, the furniture smelled musty. We had to air it out. The refrigerator door beeds to be leveled- it was on a slant and swung open. The cabinets smelled stale too. That said, the beds wete comfy and the land- especially the pond and the forested atea beyond—was lovely. There were gerse and a majestic heron perched atop a tree on the pond. All in all, very nice stay.

The grounds are beautiful and the town of Great Barrington is a short drive. Owner was responsive and everything was just as it was described. We would definitely return.

We had an overall so so experience with this house. It was what we expected, but there was a strong musty smell throughout the entire house. We opened the windows and it helped, but it got too cold to maintain that over night. By morning the smell was so strong that we decided to leave a day early. We tend not to be really picky, but this was really oppressive. The property owner was very nice and the area is lovely. If there is a way to get rid of the smell, I think it would have been a much better experience.

The house was very cozy and the property was beautiful. It had everything we needed for a weekend away and it was a lovely added bonus that we could bring our dog with us. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare a meal. Would definitely stay there again.

Case Mill was a great place to stay! The woods had amazing views! I loved the waterfall the most. There was so much to explore. The house was so spacious. There were towns that were close to the house and great to explore. There are towns, shops and good places to eat near by.

Lovely place in a great setting. Well equipped kitchen, nice amenities. Very attentive owner. Renters should be aware though that there is a large dumpster out front which affects the view. Not in the photos.

This property is a hidden gem! We absolutely loved being surrounded by nature on all sides with so much to explore. The sound of the waterfall was so peaceful. Each day we walked the woods multiple times, loved the beauty of the trees covered in snow. The property manage we was very responsive and helpful. The house is hundreds of years old but is being updated well. We loved lighting a fire and just looking out the window at the property. Proximity to downtown Great Barrington and Butternut too. Would definitely return again in Spring or Fall.
